PAKISTAN JOURNAL OF ANALYTICAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL CHEMISTRY UPGRADED IN HEC'S X
CATEGORY FOR THE YEAR 2022-2023.

 “Pakistan Journal of Analytical and Environmental Chemistry” is upgraded in X
category by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) Islamabad for the year
2022-2023.

As per Scopus, cite score of the Journal is 0.9 for the year 2021 and for the
month of December 2022, it is raised to 1.1. Now the Journal is in highest rank
of non-impact factor HEC recognized national Journals in the field of Chemistry
published from Pakistan.

The said Journal has been promoted from Y to X category Journals as a result of
publishing the best articles of the well-known scholars hailing from developing
countries and non-compromising on quality.

PJAEC is recognized in 'y' Category, by Higher Education Commission of Pakistan
(HEC)

Journal covers fields of pure and applied analytical chemistry, comprising
environmental material, agricultural chemistry, geochemistry, food chemistry,
biotechnology, pharmaceutical and biomedical sciences, development and
modification of instruments and techniques with potentials in environmental
sciences.

The journal publishes original papers, reviews, current research notes and short
communications. Reviews are written on invitation, in case and author wishes to
write a review, he/she should contact the Editor-in-Chief for consultation. All
papers are subject to peer review by two independent referees.

The Journal is supported financially by Higher Education Commission of Pakistan
(HEC). The Journal is recognized by HEC as Chemistry Journal under category "Y"
with JPI value of '5' (http://www.hjrs.hec.gov.pk/). All published articles are
available free of cost to readers. Journal levies article processing charges of
Rs. 8000/- per accepted articles (Rs. 3000/- initially as handling charges and
Rs. 5000/- after acceptance of manuscript) or for National and USD 100/- for
international authors, respectively. (applies for submissions received after
14th September 2021)
