Clinical Research Coordinator
has anyone heard of recruiters called spectraforce? i looked them up and they
seemed legit but during our phone call/interview they asked for the last four of
my social to "create an ID" for me and my application. the job seemed like such
a good opportunity but now i'm scared it's fake.

I was skeptical to start with Spectraforce, we wont go into why - I was
hired into a tough new tech role at Amazon and Tripti has made my
experience amazing. She is continuously supportive and helps me navigate
the role as a contractor on W2 in a way I could not do on my own. Make sure
to lean on your specialist. But noting here this woman needs a promotion
and love for what she does, remotely, for me in NYC, from India. Full

My coworkers outside of leadership were fantastic up until they quit.
Cons
I remember being asked many times to provide a positive Glassdoor review
any time a negative one was posted. The same was asked when we were issued
surveys regarding Spectraforce being a 'Great Place to Work.' It was always
uncomfortable to be asked repeatedly. That is why their Glassdoor rating is
so unusually high, its been completely skewed with these types of reviews.
I've even seen some ratings on their annual all-hands meeting called the
Summit, and find it really odd to be rating a meeting on a public forum.
There are a lot of things you need to watch out for at this company, so be
sure you are reading between the lines and are heeding the warnings that
are here.

GREAT JOB BUT MANAGEMENT NEEDS A LOT OF WORK!

Set hours The work is pretty straight forward The systems are user friendly
Easy to catch on Pay is okay
Cons
Huge workload as management loves to try and get people to do multiple jobs
without pay increase or title change and almost never offers a permanent
position in the company. High turnover rate for the customer
service/processing position due to this. Management also does not have
great communication skills and they are not really on your side so it’s
best to keep quiet and do your job. They are not warm at all so if that is
something you value in a job, I would not recommend.

It was really a great experience attending the Townhall meeting. The
meeting was well-organized, and the agenda was clear and concise, where the
company’s Executives provided insightful updates on the company's
performance and future plans, and they were also open to answering
employees' questions. One thing I appreciated was that the meeting was
inclusive and interactive. Employees were encouraged to share their
thoughts and feedback, and there was a sense of transparency and
accountability throughout the meeting. It was great to see that the company
values employee input and takes their opinions seriously.
Cons
The only downside was that the meeting ran a little longer than expected,
which made it difficult to stay engaged towards the end. However, overall,
I felt that attending the Townhall was a valuable experience and gave me a
better understanding of the company's direction and goals. I look forward
to attending future meetings and continuing to be involved in the company's
growth.

Fully-remote work, got to interact with interesting colleagues.

During my interviews, I repeatedly stressed that I had little experience
for the role I was being interviewed for (not the original position I was
approached about). This never occurred. During company happy hours, was
repeatedly harassed to drink more than my colleagues. Commission structure
was presented one way in the interview, and pre-tax commission amounts
weren't even half of what was initially promised. I was entrapped to join
multiple committees against my will, and when I favored my actual role
responsibilities over these committee tasks, my employment was threatened.
No amount of micromanaging seems to be enough for these people. My team
spent so much time reporting what we were doing to 3+ individuals that
there was barely time to actually do the work. Was repeatedly asked,
unprompted, "why do you hate your job" in each touchpoint I had with my
manager for months before it finally became unbearable and separation from
this company was the only reasonable option. Once they know they don't want
someone on their team, they will make blatant, shameless efforts to remove
them.

Am from Tanzania, got an offer from Exxon Mobil they sent me a contract and
recommendation letter.I really need to know if am not getting scammed.They even
offered to cover visa sponsorship accommodation and other benefits . It feels
soo good to be true can someone tell me if all this is normal?
