FRIENDLYMC -- CURRENTLY CLOSED DOWN



Hello everyone, as you may have read per the Discord Message:

As of now, the Minecraft server is closing down. Due to no usage for several
days:

Tuesday 6th June 2023 -- Last Time The Server Was Played On By Dan & Aaron

It's now Tuesday 13th June 2023  -- The Server Has Been Inactive For A Week


Ofc your not obligated to play on the server, I would never force you to do
something against your will, it's just that I wouldn't like to pay for something
that has stopped progression & stopped being used, maybe, one day, we can all
play something else and I can invest a server into that? Don't panic though! The
Minecraft server isn't going anywhere, the server will be stored in a status
(Like taking a photograph) of time meaning all the files will be intact and
ready to launch at any point. Sorry that this is the way it has to be but it is
what it is.

The Minecraft server has been closed down, this may now either be temporary or
permanently, The server won't be restored until someone requests the server to
be restored, the server won't be restored if you do not meet the said
requirements: Player Count of at least 2 or more, You will be more active on the
server.


I feel that there is no point in paying money to a company and then not having
anyone play on the server, I feel that the server can be greatly improved if the
circumstances were different, the only reason that the server cannot be changed
/ deeply customized is because Brandon's Laptop wouldn't be able to handle the
modifications which is why the server handles all the Plugin Off-Hand requests
and prevents lag for all the players since those players will only be using
Vanilla Minecraft / the mods they want to use, no server mods required therefore
it wouldn't be a great idea to change the system to run mods or anything Game
Changing Intensive, Don't get me wrong Minecraft is a great game to play every
few random days, but I just don't feel that paying for a Minecraft Server is a
great idea, the only reason I ever did begin paying for an MC Server was so then
we could add deeper plugins and not get slammed for it by Aternos's Plugin
Moderation System which you have to wait weeks, months or even years before a
plugin gets accepted and can be used on servers. Again this isn't the end of MC
I feel that the server could be upgraded in a few ways such as:

We could start fresh from the beginning with 0 creative access NOT even for
building

We could use different worlds and small modifications to play cool minimaps and
fun games like that

We could see what YouTube has to offer and try some of the things that are on
YouTube

Again I'm sorry the server had to end so abruptly as it did, but I'm sure it'll
make a comeback one day maybe?
