HISTORY

The Karura Forest Environmental Education Trust — KFEET — was established in
2010 by a consortium convened by the Friends of Karura Forest to promote
environmental education and provide a centre for learning about forest
ecosystems. Below is a video of our Outreach Program.

On behalf of the teachers who accompanied our learners on the sponsored trip to

The trip was highly enriching since it practically helped us to reinforce the

that you have shown to Mukuru Primary School. Mukuru Primary School is situated
in Mukuru slums, where the majority of the parents are casual workers within the
sounding industries. The majority of them cannot afford to cater to their
children's basic needs let alone educational trips. But through your support,
they have managed to visit Karura Forest and learned a lot.
