It's keeps crashing... Especially when I try to log in with biometrics. I've
received your email and it took me to this section. Problem is not solved I'll
be calling on Monday to find out why things are not working like the original
app. My deposits are slower and I can't use my card at certain merchants cause
there readers say my varo card is not valid. The chip works intermittently with
certain merchants, some read it others don't.

I’ve been with Varo for about a year now, maybe longer. The old app stopped
working for me to login so I contacted support over a month ago. They told me to
use the new app which gives an error upon login that the data cannot be read
because it’s in the wrong format. I told that to support. They responded that I
should use the old app. Meanwhile I’ve been waiting 6 weeks to use MY bank
account with zero help.

I used to pay the rent with ‘Mail a Check’ feature from old Varo app. This
feature is gone in new Varo app which makes me to use Chime for the future rent
payments. This is the only reason I gave 4 starts. Other that that I m very
satisfied with Varo bank.

I’ve had this app for two days now, and it’s just a little off atm. One thing
that’s bothers me is how late the notifications show up. For example, I buy food
but I’m not immediately notified (I’m notified like a half hour later). I don’t
know the whole story of why there needs to be a new app, but why couldn’t they
just update the old one and everyone keeps their current cards and they don’t
have to change all their card information on direct deposit, etc. I hope this
ends up being an improvement from the old app and they keep tweaking their bugs
like the notifications, because it’s definitely going to take some getting use
to.

I made a large (over $1500) instant transfer from cashapp to my Varo bank
account and there was no trace of it. Spent an entire week trying to track it
down. Was told on two separate occasions that managers would look into it and
call me back. No call back either time. I was finally compensated for their
incompetency when I refused to get off the phone until it was resolved...8 days
later.

I love using Varo, i haave my payroll DD onti my varo card and it always come
sooner then my original payday. The features of varo banking are great. I love
the save your change feature and the option to put so much of my deposit

I have used Varo since summer of this year. I recently just migrated my account
to Varo Bank. Super smooth! I’ll be honest, they aren’t perfect. But what bank
is? Those big banks that charge you all the fees are better for you? Varo is the

Make it easier and free for people to deposit cash into their account. Right now
the only way is to go to a third-party person and pay a fee to put money into
your account. This is 2021 and you should be able to go to any ATM and deposit
cash into your account for free. Also stop charging fees to use ATMs when a
Chime ATM is not nearby.

The one thing I don’t like is the double fee I pay when I use a ATM that is not

It’s a well built app. But it took $80 from my account. That’s not my main
problem. When I try to contact customer service, there is none. I tried to

did, but there was no response. AND they’re sending my card to the wrong
address. I would recommend this app to people who are closer to overdraft fees,
not if you’re already somewhat wealthy.

For those pompous self-righteous folks who feel a need to criticize this app or
the people who use it..... you are no better than the folks who use the app.
Life is unpredictable and one can loose material possessions in an instant!!! I
earn a decent salary but the high cost of living in certain cities and
emergencies make it difficult for some people. So.... thank you Dave for your
kind generosity and I hope to put it forward.

Chime is super easy and extremely quick with my deposits from work. I usually
get my deposits one to two business days before my coworkers. I’ve used several
banks in the past but chime is hands down the easiest and most user friendly.
Once I found chime and saw how easy it was I closed all my other accounts with
my other banks. I especially love the credit builder card. My credit has came up
60 points since I started using it a little over a year ago. Couldn’t ask for a
better banking experience.

Banking with Chime has been the best experience I’ve ever had , so much that I
Left Chase, Bank of America, and Wells Fargo to join the Chime gang. Anyone
looking for stable , well inputted , manageable Banking needs to join the chime
team , very reliable , very trustworthy. I am very excited for this banking
service to grow in the many ways they already help Bankers so well currently !!!
If I could give it 100 more stars I would in a heartbeat. Concerns -
Transferring Bank to Bank take a few more days than expected. - this is why I
ultimately made the switch to chime , it’s the best thing out there I’m telling
you.

I know with the recent updates there were some glitches afterward that left a
lot of customers unhappy. I experienced some of that too but we were given
notice about the updates. And with anything, there are bound to be some sort of
hiccups along the way. There is a lesson in this and that is to have some cash
and maybe a credit card that isn't linked to your main bank on hand. I am
getting better at managing money but I am very thankful for the cushion that
Chime provides should I overdraft. And yes, I do tip when I can because I don't
know when and if I or someone worse off than me will need it. So yes, I love
Chime and will continue to bank with them until I just have to change. Thank you
so much!!!

I’ve been with chime for a few years. Several times I’ve been out in public and
not been able to use my card due to errors with chime. This last time I was in a
restaurant and had to sit there for well over an hour because my funds were held
hostage. I’ll be moving to a more traditional bank at the end of the month.

I put four(4) stars because despite Current being one of the best financial
technology companies(fin tech company), there’s still room left for improvement.
I would like Current to include investment options in stocks and bitcoins. I
would like Current to include loans and maybe cash advance. I would like Current
to change their cash back process. I would like Current to include IRA Savings,
CD’S(Certificate of Deposit) and money market. I would like Current to include
credit builder(a way to build your credit). I been with Current for nearly a
year now and while I enjoy all the cool features Current offer, none of these
features put money in my pocket.

I was leery about starting with a brand new bank but the concept was great so I
decided to try it out with a small direct deposit. Everything’s been great. I
actually prefer Chime to BOA & Truist when it comes to paycheck availability and
functionality of the app. My only con is that there is no Zelle. That’s why I
limit my direct deposit to Chime. I utilize Zelle heavily.

If you get an advance, the money is pulled from your account a day earlier and
that just creates more issues than needed. Also, the amount is never the same
when reapplying, even if your paid the same every week. If you have some cash
left over before payday, Dave takes it early and you maybe forced to wait….
Example, your check is deposited at 12:01 AM on Friday, Dave will attempt to
withdraw at 12:01 AM the prior day.

All of my debit and credit purchases were declining. I was unable to withdraw
money from the ATM. I kept getting hung up on when trying to get through to a
representative to see what the issue was. There was no alert on the automated
system hinting to technical difficulties. I emailed Chime Support but the email
bounced back. I was finally able to get through only to be told that there was
no ETA resolution and to go to a website to check for status updates. An alert
in the app eventually appeared saying there were technical difficulties but it
was hours after the issue first started. Very frustrating but in all of my time
with Chime, this was the first time (and hopefully last!) that this happened.
Extremely frustrating to be in the dark about technical issues.

I got a random charge nowhere on my aspiration dashboard mentioned but went
through my checking account. I dont like hidden fees. I haven't even signed up

I would give a 5 on the whole thing due to the positive impact on the
environment alone, however Ive been getting charges that I do not understand
without any clear warning that Id be charged constantly. I still have no idea
why Ive been charged a $10 "Pay what is fair" fee when Ive just started using my
acct. Now Im being charged for planting trees and I dont have money for all
these fees and they were never disclosed upon sign up. Thats why I give 2 stars
and a warning, Im about to cancel

So the bank does concentrate on “doing good” which was the initial draw. But
originally it came with high interest rates for savings and free ATM withdrawals
where you would get credited for charges from other banks/atms . Now all that is
gone. Woeful interest rates, no free ATMs... always asking for money to have a
“good impact”. Truthfully, you can find other online banks with better rewards &
interest rates.
