in the West Loop. Nearly 500 students in Preschool through Grade 3 begin
their FXW journey at OSP. Holy Name Cathedral Campus (HNC) is located in the
heart of downtown with more than 400 students in Grades 4-8.

WE ARE...

A COMMUNITY OF FAITH

You will see a unique model of Catholic education for an ever-changing world; it
is a progressive approach to a rich tradition. With dual religion tracks, our
students live, learn, and work with one another with respect and understanding
of each other’s religions, creating a diverse community, reflective of our great
city.

A COMMUNITY THAT SERVES OTHERS

Service to others and the values of our namesake, Mother Frances Xavier Warde,
are visible in both our actions and in our service projects, which are an
integral part of the FXW curriculum. Parents and students volunteer for numerous
opportunities available at school through our Living the Legacy Program, and
they seek out many other many other ways to help make our city and our world
better, fairer, more just places to live and grow.

A COMMUNITY COMMITTED TO INNOVATIVE EDUCATION

Learn how our teachers support each child’s developing sense of curiosity,
interests, and talents through vigorous and imaginative exploration of essential
concepts, skills, and experiences in academics, the arts, and athletics. Our
graduates go on to be critical thinkers and leaders in their community and are
highly sought-after by high schools and colleges throughout the country.

A COMMUNITY THAT IS PURPOSELY DIVERSE AND INTENTIONALLY INCLUSIVE

Chicago is a city of neighborhoods. By inviting all the neighborhoods into our
School, we show value and  respect toward all cultures, all faiths, all
backgrounds and beliefs. We seek out diversity and rejoice in the gifts that an
inclusive community has in a global society.
