ATCRUINEDOURHOLIDAY.COM AIR TRAFFIC CONTROL RUINED OUR HOLIDAY European Air Traffic Control services have been short staffed and mismanaged this Summer, resulting in record delays & cancellations across Europe's airports. THERE IS RECORD AIR TRAFFIC CONTROL FLIGHT DELAYS & CANCELLATIONS ACROSS EUROPE'S AIRPORTS THIS SUMMER THANKS TO PERSISTENT STAFF SHORTAGES AND POOR ROSTERS WHAT'S GOING ON THIS SUMMER? Despite ATC fees rising 21% pre Covid, European ATC service levels have declined. There isn't enough staff trained and rostered, especially at weekends, leading to "restrictions" for aircraft wanting to take off & land. WHAT DO THESE STAFF SHORTAGES MEAN FOR YOU? It means that you might be at the airport gate, bags packed with a fully crewed aircraft, ready to go... And you still face lengthy delays or cancellations because there aren't enough Air Traffic Controllers rostered to get you on holiday.
