    2021 KeyBanc Capital Markets Year in Review


 

 

  Thanks to your continued trust and partnership, KeyBanc Capital Markets
celebrated another record year of investment banking revenues in 2021 – the 9th
record year for our firm over the past decade. Our industry focused teams worked
tirelessly to help our clients capitalize on a recovering economy and very
strong markets which drove historic levels of transaction activity.

We are pleased to share these notable 2021 highlights:
 * Over the past two years we have successfully grown our senior investment
   banking team by ~15% while growing 2021 investment banking revenue by 50% and
   at a compounded annual growth rate of 15% over the last decade
 * Debt capital markets team raised over $450 billion via 650 transactions
 * Equity capital markets team raised over $63 billion via 120 deals,
   book-runner on 36%
 * Closed a record 105 M&A deals across seven industry verticals
 * Added a 13 person renewable energy M&A team to expand our leading renewables
   project finance practice
 * Aligned with Clearwater International to expand M&A coverage across Europe,
   closing multiple transactions
 * Winner of the 2021 "Industrial Software Deal of the Year" by Mergers &
   Acquisitions magazine
 * Recognized by Power Finance & Risk as the "Renewables Lead Arranger of the
   Year"
