Multiple new treatment options are available, which marks a new era in migraine management. A number of anti-calcitonin gene-related peptide (CGRP) monoclonal antibodies have been approved for migraine prevention, small molecule CGRP receptor antagonists (gepants) have been approved for acute care and prevention, and a 5-hydroxytryptamine-1F (5-HT1F) receptor agonist (ditan) has been approved for acute care treatment. This course will address diagnosis, treatment, and clinician-patient communication strategies to optimize patient care.
