Exercise your dog with trained canine professional prepared with fitness and
agility plans. I carry a deterrent spray to avoid dog attacks, perform post walk
paws wipes and tick check, and ensure a full water bowl before leaving.
Disco NIGHTZ
Worry-free, fun, safe and action packed experience for your dog by staying with
their familiar and trusted guardian while you go away.
Disco GROOMZ
Treatments for your dog's pads impacted by allergies, bacteria, and rough
pavement. Specialized baths to calm dogs down, especially those afraid of water.
The baths incorporate massage. Also offer specialized Schnauzer CUTZ.

Kenidee
Korean Jindo

Jeff’s work with my dog Kenidee is unparalleled. I rescued Kenidee from S. Korea
a few months ago. For weeks, Kenidee wouldn’t leave my bed. She lay there 24/7,
ate there, and sometimes went to the bathroom there. Jeff gave me so much advice
on handling such a fragile dog. After a few sessions, Kenidee stopped her
submissive urination, came when called, and wasn’t as terrified of the outdoors.
He showed me how to walk her, feed her, etc.  Due to her neglected upbringing,
she had many habits that needed to be addressed. Jeff showed me techniques that
helped Kenidee act more as an untraumatized dog might.  For that, I’m eternally
grateful!

What I can’t thank him enough for is taking care of my little Princess while I
was away on vacation. Recently I was gone for 10 days.  Kenidee is a very
nervous dog, especially around strangers, and I wasn’t sure how she’d behave
without me. Let me just say, she was a rockstar!  The moment she got upstairs
her tail went up and she curled up on Jeff’s couch. She and Jeff bonded so much
while I was gone. From all the photos and videos Jeff sent me, I legitimately
thought she might not want to come home (lol). His Disco NIGHTZ service offerin
were everything Kenidee needed. She had exceptional care, additional training,
Disco SNAX, Jeff’s chill dog Disco (obv), plus other dogs to play with at the
park. Jeff is everything to Kenidee. I’d be lost without him. I’m beyond excited

Delilah & Ears
Pit Bull & German Shepard mix

My husband and I have a 5 yo pit bull mix, Delilah who is the most loving dog,
however, she is absolutely terrified of the city.  Even though we adopted her as
a rescue from Bidawee when she was only 12 weeks old, she never adjusted to the
noise and bustle of NYC. To make matters worse, we live in the heart of Soho,
the busiest streets of Manhattan. Just the anticipation of having to face this
every day resulted in her having accidents in the house and she violently shook
on the way to the elevator for every potty walk. We decided maybe getting
another dog might help decrease anxiety, so we adopted Ears, a German shepherd
mix puppy also from Bidawee.   Now there were 2 dogs that peed and pooped in the
house, both for different reasons, but hours and hours of taking time to clean
up.  We decided it was time to find a professional. As luck would have it, I
found Jeff’s CitiZEN DOG company and he was a godsend!Jeff helped us build a
structure with a daily potty schedule to train Ears, while simultaneously
helping us walk Delilah on a leash teaching techniques that addressed her
anxiety issues.He created a shared document for us to update on a daily basis to
track any setbacks, progress, and themes to efficiently course correct with
another plan or technique to keep moving the girls forward and setting them up
for success.The most shocking part was how quickly my girls responded and
immediately took to Jeff within minutes. He is meant to work with dogs..a gift.
He was patient and loving to my girls and I felt so grateful that I had found
him. Happy to report that presently Ears is totally leash and potty trained, and
Delilah has improved immensely having occasional accidents at most.  Best of
all, she is calmer on her walks and seems much happier.  This makes all of us
happier. I can't thank Jeff and the innovative methods of CitiZEN Dog enough for
getting our girls through a difficult adjustment period.

Watson
Mini Schnauzer

It is a pleasure to write a recommendation for Jeff, who started off being
someone who answered my website ad about seeking someone to groom my schnauzer
in 2019 during the covid pandemic to becoming a much-loved family friend. 
Watson was groomed beautifully and Jeff even came to my home during the
pandemic. He is not only a groomer but also a dog walker, trainer and care
taker. Specific successes were to stop Watson from pulling on his leash while on
a walk since I have a shoulder injury and to potty train him while he was a
puppy. Soon his care became well known and led to his training all the puppies
on 181st in Washington Heights even after he moved to Hell’s Kitchen. Taking
training courses, he learned how to make healthy food for dogs, making sure to
get the best ingredients for Disco-Snax, the brand name he established after his
own schnauzer’s name. Each dog client gets special treatment and you can see how
they all love him.  Mine included!

Bella
Labrador

I found Jeff while searching for a dog trainer for my 5-month-old Labrador puppy
Bella, who at that time, was constantly pulling me on her leash. She also got
excited and suddenly lunged on the leash when she saw other dogs, birds, bikes,
and kids.  Bella would grow up to be a big dog, so I realized I had to do
something now before she doubled in size.  Jeff’s training methods using
positive reinforcement quickly helped Bella learn leash manners; and not to pull
or suddenly lunge. In addition, her understanding of the STOP and SIT commands
at corners with busy traffic mattered for her safety.  Like all puppies, Bella
also went through her biting/nipping stage. After a few clothing casualties and
my little girl’s crying episode over Bella’s pinching, I was glad that I could
rely on Jeff to remedy this behavior. Jeff is great and passionate about dogs.
His sweet dog Disco is also a perfect training companion and sets a wonderful
example for pups in training. I would definitely recommend CitiZEN Dog NYC if
you need help getting your pup on the right track.
