STEW-MAP IS A RESEARCH PROJECT ABOUT PEOPLE WHO CARE FOR LOCAL ENVIRONMENTS IN
THE FOUR-STATE CHICAGO WILDERNESS REGION.

Over 400 environmental stewardship groups and organizations have filled out the
STEW-MAP survey. Click the buttons below to explore the STEW-MAP project. We
define Stewardship as environmental restoration, monitoring, education,
conservation/preservation, advocacy, and/or taking care of a particular site or
patch of land.
