      Under the guidance of eminent people of Panikanadarkudieruppu, our school
has reached a significant milestone in its educational journey. The esteemed
people of the locality recognized the importance of education and its role in
fostering intellectual growth, established Panickanadarkudieruppu Colombo
KalviAbiviruthiSangam. This humble beginning marked the birth of a Primary
School on 1947, which subsequently evolved into a middle school in 1957 and a
high school in 1963. In 1973, the school achieved a major milestone by
transforming into a higher secondary school.



      Furthermore, administrators are making significant efforts to elevate our
school to the next level. In our school both Tamil and English medium is
available for both male and female students. Education is delivered to students
with multiple distinctive aspects effectively catering to their individual
learning needs. This tailored approach enables students to effortlessly
comprehend and assimilate knowledge and fostering their intellectual growth. Our
school premises are adorned with wide and well – lit corridors, offering ample
space for students to move around. The facilities are extensively encompassing

BUILDINGS & INFRASTRUCTURE



 * Our school has a big campus consisting of separate buildings for Nursery,
   Primary, Secondary and Senior Secondary classes and separate Hostel buildings
   for Boys & Girls..

 * In order to monitor student activities, and heighten security at campus,
   video surveillance is installed in each building and class. The gates are
   manned by security personnel.

 * School has spacious, airy classrooms furnished with suitable furniture,
   lighting arrangements and other infrastructure.

 * Our School has vast green lawns and playground.

 * Peaceful natural environment far from the urban disturbances.

 * To conduct functions and assemblies we have big open Air Stage, sophisticated

CLASSROOMS



      Class rooms are very spacious, well ventilated with fans and lights
keeping in mind the comforts of pupils. Our School has a digital Smart class
which is highly equipped with Projector, Whiteboard, High Speed Internet. These
are used along with educational software to help teaching and learning an
effectual, interactive and fun process. It helps our students to store the
information fast and more effectively.





LABORATORIES


CHEMISTRY LAB

      In the chemistry lab students are expected to indulge in a creative
observation, experimentation and theoretical inferences. Students are trained to
use scientific instruments.


PHYSICS LAB

      It is designed to give practice of taking measurements, analyzing data and
drawing inferences while the students doing experiment. The lab is quite
spacious and very well ventilated to ensure proper availability of light in it.


BIOLOGY LAB

      Biology laboratory is well equipped with a vast collection of specimens.
The activities are planned to develop observation & identification skill and to
get answers.


COMPUTER LAB

      • Our School has two Computer labs which are well equipped with desktops,
fully furnished with air conditioners, tables & chairs, soft boards etc.

      • Students from Std.3 attend the computer classes.

      • Individual training by the teachers helps the students to understand and
learn the concept and programs.

LIBRARY

School libraries have positive impact on student achievement. We have many books
and periodicals and journals to enrich the vocabulary of our students. Children
are encouraged to use the library often.

TRANSPORTS

The school offers spacious transport facilities for students. School buses were
operated to cover the widest area as possible. The conductors take care of the
students.

The drivers are well-trained, trustworthy and punctual, and all the buses are
equipped with fire-extinguishers, first-aid kits, speed governors, CCTV camera
and GPS.

HOSTELS

There is separate hostels for boys and girls and were managed by separate
wardens. Teaching and non-teaching staff reside with the students to maintain
decorum and discipline.

• Spacious and separate dining halls for boys and girls are available where
wholesome nutritious meals are served. Special attention is given to provide
fruits, refreshments and milk to meet the extra need for the growing mind and
bodies.

• Students are monitored by CCTV camera over 24 hours that ensures their safety.

• The Day-Boarding & Residential staff take tutorial Classes.

PLEASE NOTE

• For Students seeking admissions, the Transfer Certificates should be
countersigned by the respective inspecting authorities.

• Issue of application form is not a guarantee for admission.

• Pupils for admissions must be accompanied by both the parent or guardians who
must sign the prescribed admission form and pledge themselves to abide by the
rules and regulations of the school. If a parent wished to withdraw the child
from the school, he / she should submit a written application to the Principal.
Transfer Certificate will be issued if all the payments due to the school are
paid.

• Pupils are liable to be suspended or dismissed with the Transfer Certificate
at any time of the year if their conduct is detrimental to the discipline of the
school.


ACADEMIC


ADMISSIONS

Admissions are open to all the students irrespective of caste and creed.This is
a co-educational institution. The school accommodates pupils from Nursery to
Higher Secondary level.


Child should be 2.5 years or above for admission in Pre-KG.Fees relaxation is
available for meritorious (both English & Tamil medium)students.


Admissions are normally made, Application forms are available in the School
Office. It is important that correct details are furnished in the application
form. The application form must be carefully filled up and submitted to the
School Office.


At the time of admission the following particulars are to be furnished.


• Transfer Certificate countersigned by proper authority (Except LKG)

• Birth Certificate, Community certificate(photocopy)

• Conduct certificate (for students from class VI and above)

• Addhar card(photocopy)

AFFILIATION & CURRICULUM

Sri Ganesar Schools, Panickanadarkudieruppu is a co-educational, both English
and Tamil medium School, affiliated to the Sate Board of Tamilnadu Government.


DISCIPLINARY RULES

 * Students are expected to behave in a gentle and courteous manner towards
   their fellow -students and teachers.
 * Students are responsible for the safe custody of their books and belongings.
   They are advised not to bring money unnecessarily.
 * It is not allowed to write or scribble on the walls, desks. Any damage done
   to the school property must be paid for that.
 * Unwanted arguments with any staff member in the campus will be seriously
   dealt with.
 * Parents should send their children to school on time.
 * Students who are not obeying the school rules will be expelled from the
   school. The disciplinary committee’s decision will be final in this regard.
 * Students are not allowed to come by bikes.
 * Students using the school van are expected to behave properly. Van services
   will not be extended to students who misbehave or cause any damage to the
   van.
 * All students should wear the uniform provided by the school only.
 * All boys should wear the tie provided by the school.
 * Wearing gold/silver chain or other gold/silver accessories except gold studs
   in the case of girls is prohibited. The school is not responsible for such
   accessories.
 * Parents are requested to attend and meet the teachers to discuss their
   child’s performance.
 * Electronic gadgets like walkmans, iPods, cell phones, camerasare not
   permitted into the school campus. If confiscated they will not be returned
   back.
 * Gift articles of any kind should not be exchanged among the students inside
   the campus.

ACTIVITIES



Activities like painting, speech, quiz, dramatics, singing, and dance and
various hands-on training were given to the children to connect to the
environment and students are graded on their performance in these activities.
Festivals and special days are celebrated with diverse competition in a good
manner.All students are allowed to participate in such festivals to know various
culture. Field trips and tour were arranged to places of cultural, historical,
and environmental interest. Every effort is made to ensure that the students
grow as social responsible individual.


Special coaching for NMMS and trust exam were conducted by the school itself.
This allows most of the students to obtain the scholarship provided by the
government.
