WHAT WE’RE ABOUT

A family-orientated outdoor recreation club targeted to off-road trailer,
off-road caravans and 4×4 overland vehicle owners, rooftop tents including
general camping in all shapes, sizes, and forms.

We aim to bring like-minded people with a love of nature and a sense of
adventure together; developing long and lasting friendships, exploring and
experiencing the great outdoors of the Western Cape, South Africa and our
neighbouring countries.

Note we are NOT an 4×4 club. This is about offroading and overlanding. Traveling
the gravel roads and old passes to the hidden camping gems.

WHY JOIN A CAMPING CLUB?

Joining a club exposes you to many campsites and places that you would not have
known about or thought of going to and it also adds a ‘little bit of security.

We try and visit as varied campsites as possible. The monthly camp is great to
get away and relax. With venues that are closer to home. Generally within 2-3
hours of Cape Town.

In June of each year, we arrange a longer 10-day tour.

With us, there is no need to host a camp or arrange bookings. The club
volunteers take care of that. All you have to do is pick the weekend and venue
you want to join us at and pay us the necessary fees. As simple as that.

We are not one of those clubs where the whole weekend is planned with military
precision and you have to be at certain places at a specific time doing specific
things. The closest we get to organizing is the Saturday night communal braai
where some pop in for a quick hello and others gather around the fire long into
the night.
