400;">This page sets out important information about the Triangle Rewards
program (the Program) – the program that rewards you with electronic Canadian
Tire Money when you shop at participating Canadian Tire® stores, on-line
at&nbsp;<a href="canadiantire.ca">canadiantire.ca</a>&nbsp;and at Canadian Tire
gas bars. The Program is made available by Canadian Tire Corporation, Limited
(referred to as </span><b>Canadian Tire</b> or we) on the following terms and
conditions.</div><div style="font-style: normal; font-size: 12px; color: rgb(0,
0, 0); font-weight: 400;"><br></div><div style="font-style: normal; font-size:
12px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);"><b>Participating in the Program</b></div><div
style="font-size: 12px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">In order to collect and redeem
electronic Canadian Tire Money (<b>eCTM®</b>), you must become a member (<b>a
Member</b>). Membership is open to you if you are an individual, you reside in
Canada and you are of the age of majority in the province in which you
reside.&nbsp;</div><div style="font-style: normal; font-size: 12px; color:
rgb(0, 0, 0); font-weight: 400;"><br></div><div style="font-style: normal;
font-size: 12px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);"><span style="font-weight: 400;">You can
become a Member by (i) completing the registration process online at
canadiantire.ca (the</span><b> Program Website</b>) or (ii) by downloading the
Program application to your mobile phone or device (the <b>Program App</b>)
which you can receive information on by calling Program customer service at
1-800-226-8473 or by visiting the Program Website, or (iii) by applying for a
credit card issued by Canadian Tire Bank that is designated as being linked to
the Program (a Program Payment Card), or (iv) by calling customer service at
1-800-226-8473 after you have picked up a Triangle Rewards Card in
store.</div><div style="font-style: normal; font-size: 12px; color: rgb(0, 0,
0); font-weight: 400;"><br></div><div style="font-style: normal; font-size:
12px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-weight: 400;">If you apply for a Program Credit
Card and are not approved you will still become a Member of the Triangle Rewards
Program if</div><div style="font-style: normal; font-size: 12px; color: rgb(0,
0, 0); font-weight: 400;">you provided all of the necessary information unless,
at time of application for the Program Credit Card, you were advised
that</div><div style="font-style: normal; font-size: 12px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);
font-weight: 400;">you would have to enroll separately in the Triangle Rewards
Program in the event your credit card application was declined or</div><div
style="font-style: normal; font-size: 12px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-weight:
400;">unless we otherwise notify you in writing.&nbsp;</div><div
style="font-style: normal; font-size: 12px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-weight:
400;"><br></div><div style="font-style: normal; font-size: 12px; color: rgb(0,
0, 0);"><b>Triangle Rewards Cards</b></div><div style="font-style: normal;
font-size: 12px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Each
Member may receive a Triangle Rewards Program card (a Triangle Rewards Card)
that is linked to a Triangle Rewards Account. Your eCTM will be stored in that
account. If you do not receive a </span><b>Triangle Rewards Card</b><span
style="font-weight: 400;"> you will need to use a </span><b>Cardless Method
</b>(see below) when you collect or redeem eCTM.&nbsp;</div><div
style="font-style: normal; font-size: 12px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-weight:
400;"><br></div><div style="font-style: normal; font-size: 12px; color: rgb(0,
0, 0); font-weight: 400;">Any Program Credit Cards that are issued to a Member
will also be linked to that Member’s Triangle Rewards Account. If a Member has
multiple Program Credit Cards they cannot be linked to the same Triangle Rewards
Account.</div><div style="font-style: normal; font-size: 12px; color: rgb(0, 0,
0); font-weight: 400;"><br></div><div style="font-style: normal; font-size:
12px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-weight: 400;">A Member can request the issuance
of additional Triangle Rewards Cards that have the same account number as that
Member’s Triangle Rewards Account.</div><div style="font-style: normal;
font-size: 12px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-weight: 400;"><br></div><div
style="font-style: normal; font-size: 12px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);"><b>Collecting
electronic Canadian Tire Money</b></div><div style="font-style: normal;
font-size: 12px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);"><span style="font-weight: 400;">eCTM can
be collected when you purchase </span><b>Eligible Merchandise</b> (see below) at
participating Canadian Tire stores or on-line at <a
href="canadiantire.ca">canadiantire.ca</a> (or such other web site as may be
designated by Canadian Tire from time to time). eCTM is calculated on the
pretax, purchase amount (or eligible portion thereof) and is rounded to the
nearest cent. To collect eCTM you must present a Triangle Rewards Card (or use a
Cardless Method described below). You can also collect eCTM on that portion of a
purchase charged to a Program Credit Card. The Program Credit Card must be
linked to a Triangle Rewards Account at the time the purchase is made in order
to collect eCTM.</div><div style="font-style: normal; font-size: 12px; color:
rgb(0, 0, 0); font-weight: 400;"><br></div><div style="font-style: normal;
font-size: 12px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-weight: 400;">eCTM can also be
collected when you purchase fuel (gasoline or diesel) at participating Canadian
Tire gas bars and present</div><div style="font-style: normal; font-size: 12px;
color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-weight: 400;">a Triangle Rewards Card (or use a
Cardless Method described below) and use a qualifying form of tender or if you
pay for the purchase with a Program Credit Card. The amount of eCTM collected on
fuel purchases depends on the number of litres</div><div style="font-style:
normal; font-size: 12px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-weight: 400;">purchased. A
minimum fuel purchase may be required before eCTM can be collected. The rate of
collection may vary from time to time and by location and by type of tender used
for payment so check at your local Canadian Tire gas bar. eCTM can only be
collected at Canadian Tire gas bars on fuel purchases.</div><div
style="font-style: normal; font-size: 12px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-weight:
400;"><br></div><div style="font-style: normal; font-size: 12px; color: rgb(0,
0, 0); font-weight: 400;">You can also collect eCTM on purchases that you make
at other merchants that are charged to a Program Credit Card. eCTM
that</div><div style="font-style: normal; font-size: 12px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);
font-weight: 400;">you collect at other merchants will also be rounded to the
nearest cent.</div><div style="font-style: normal; font-size: 12px; color:
rgb(0, 0, 0); font-weight: 400;"><br></div><div style="font-style: normal;
font-size: 12px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-weight: 400;">The rate at which eCTM
can be collected may vary from time to time and by location and is subject to
change by Canadian Tire</div><div style="font-style: normal; font-size: 12px;
color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-weight: 400;">without notice. In addition, you may
collect eCTM at a different rate if you pay with a Program Credit Card than you
would if you</div><div style="font-style: normal; font-size: 12px; color: rgb(0,
0, 0);"><span style="font-weight: 400;">use a Triangle Rewards Card (or
</span><b>Cardless Method</b>). Please call 1-800-226-8473 for current
rates.&nbsp;</div><div style="font-style: normal; font-size: 12px; color: rgb(0,
0, 0); font-weight: 400;"><br></div><div style="font-style: normal; font-size:
12px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);"><span style="font-weight: 400;">When shopping at
Canadian Tire stores or gas bars, if you forget your Triangle Rewards Card or
choose not to use it, you may still be able to collect eCTM on a qualifying
purchase if you provide the telephone number that you gave when you enrolled as
a Member or you scan at a compatible point of sale device your mobile phone or
other mobile device on which you have downloaded the Program App (each of these
is a </span><b>Cardless Method</b>).</div><div style="font-style: normal;
font-size: 12px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-weight: 400;"><br></div><div
style="font-style: normal; font-size: 12px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-weight:
400;">Purchases made in a foreign currency with a Program Credit Card are first
converted into Canadian currency (as set out in the cardmember agreement) prior
to calculating the amount of eCTM that you have collected.</div><div
style="font-style: normal; font-size: 12px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-weight:
400;"><br></div><div style="font-style: normal; font-size: 12px; color: rgb(0,
0, 0); font-weight: 400;">eCTM can only be collected on one Triangle Rewards
Account for each purchase transaction. If you use a Triangle Rewards Card or
Cardless Method, it must be swiped or scanned or your phone number provided, as
the case may be, before you make your purchase. When shopping online at <a
href="canadiantire.ca">canadiantire.ca</a> (or other website as designated by
Canadian Tire), you must enter your Triangle Rewards Account number at check out
to collect eCTM.</div><div style="font-style: normal; font-size: 12px; color:
rgb(0, 0, 0); font-weight: 400;"><br></div><div style="font-style: normal;
font-size: 12px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-weight: 400;">Members are also
eligible to collect bonus eCTM, or to collect eCTM at a promotional rate offered
from time to time on the</div><div style="font-style: normal; font-size: 12px;
color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-weight: 400;">purchase of select items, upon the
occurrence of certain events or as part of a promotion or offer, but unless
otherwise indicated, bonus eCTM or eCTM awarded at a promotional rate is awarded
only once for a transaction.</div><div style="font-style: normal; font-size:
12px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-weight: 400;"><br></div><div style="font-style:
normal; font-size: 12px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-weight: 400;">You cannot use
a Triangle Rewards Card (or Cardless Method) together with a Program Credit
Card. If you charge a purchase to a Program Credit Card, you will only earn eCTM
at the applicable Program Credit Card rate then in effect, even if you also
present</div><div style="font-style: normal; font-size: 12px; color: rgb(0, 0,
0); font-weight: 400;">your Triangle Rewards Card (or Cardless Method). However,
if you redeem eCTM to pay for part of a transaction and pay for the balance of
the transaction with a Program Credit Card that is linked to a different
Triangle Rewards Account than the account from which the redemption is
occurring, all eCTM collected in respect of that transaction will be credited to
the Triangle Rewards Account from which redemption is occurring.</div><div
style="font-style: normal; font-size: 12px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-weight:
400;"><br></div><div style="font-style: normal; font-size: 12px; color: rgb(0,
0, 0); font-weight: 400;">You will not be able to collect eCTM on that portion
of a transaction in respect of which you redeemed eCTM. However, we may, from
time to time and at our discretion, have special offers or promotions that would
allow you to collect eCTM on that portion of a transaction in respect of which
you redeemed eCTM.</div><div style="font-style: normal; font-size: 12px; color:
rgb(0, 0, 0); font-weight: 400;"><br></div><div style="font-style: normal;
font-size: 12px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-weight: 400;">If you use more than
one Program Credit Card to make a purchase (e.g. split the cost between two or
more cards), all eCTM collected on that purchase will be credited only to the
Triangle Rewards Account linked to the first Program Credit Card that is
presented.</div><div style="font-style: normal; font-size: 12px; color: rgb(0,
0, 0); font-weight: 400;"><br></div><div style="font-style: normal; font-size:
12px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-weight: 400;">If you make payment using a
Program Credit Card in combination with some other form of tender, only that
portion of the purchase charged to the Program Credit Card will earn eCTM at the
then applicable Program Credit Card rate. That portion of the purchases made
with the other form of tender may be eligible to earn eCTM at a different
rate.</div><div style="font-style: normal; font-size: 12px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);
font-weight: 400;"><br></div><div style="font-style: normal; font-size: 12px;
color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-weight: 400;">Delays may occur in recording eCTM to a
Triangle Rewards Account. You cannot collect paper Canadian Tire Money® and eCTM
on the same transaction.</div><div style="font-style: normal; font-size: 12px;
color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-weight: 400;"><br></div><div style="font-style:
normal; font-size: 12px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);"><b>If you are the holder of a
Program Credit Card and you fail to&nbsp;keep your credit card account in good
standing, any eCTM that&nbsp;you might have collected as a result of
transactions with that&nbsp;Program Credit Card, may, in Canadian Tire’s sole
discretion, be&nbsp;cancelled.</b></div><div style="font-style: normal;
font-size: 12px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-weight: 400;"><br></div><div
style="font-style: normal; font-size: 12px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);"><b>Eligible
Merchandise</b></div><div style="font-style: normal; font-size: 12px; color:
rgb(0, 0, 0);"><span style="font-weight: 400;">All merchandise sold at Canadian
Tire stores, or on-line at canadiantire.ca, is </span><b>Eligible
Merchandise</b><u> except the following</u>: gift cards, lottery tickets,
hunting and fishing licences, tire disposal fees, tire taxes, Rug Doctor® rental
charges, refundable deposits, environmental fees, repair charges, delivery or
assembly charges, other store services (other than automobile service),
interstore sales, other store labour (other than labour for automobile repairs),
donations at a discount, house account charges, towing charges, prepaid cards,
phone cards, tobacco products or alcohol, Pit Stop® parts/labour charges,
Canadian Tire Roadside Assistance®memberships that are purchased over the phone
or on-line, premiums for credit card balance insurance or for insurance or
extended warranties on items purchased with a Canadian Tire branded credit card,
premiums for other Canadian Tire branded insurance products, cash advances,
transactions using a convenience cheque, balance transfers and other cash
transactions, any fees charged on a Program Credit Card, payments made to a
Program Credit Card account, the value of any part or item traded-in in
connection with a purchase, any item that we are legally precluded from awarding
eCTM in respect of and such other goods or services as we may determine from
time to time in our sole discretion. In addition, individual Canadian Tire
stores may exclude additional items sold in that store from being Eligible
Merchandise.&nbsp; We reserve the right, at any time without notice, to change
what constitutes Eligible Merchandise.</div><div style="font-style: normal;
font-size: 12px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-weight: 400;"><br></div><div
style="font-style: normal; font-size: 12px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);"><b>Redeeming
electronic Canadian Tire Money</b></div><div style="font-style: normal;
font-size: 12px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-weight: 400;">eCTM can only be
redeemed for merchandise (including applicable taxes) at participating Canadian
Tire stores or at other locations designated by Canadian Tire.</div><div
style="font-style: normal; font-size: 12px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-weight:
400;"><br></div><div style="font-style: normal; font-size: 12px; color: rgb(0,
0, 0); font-weight: 400;">eCTM cannot be redeemed for alcohol, tobacco, gift
cards, prepaid cards, other stored value cards or products, items that we
designate on the Program Website and those items which the law does not permit
to be purchased this way, or used to make a payment on any Canadian Tire Bank
issued credit cards or on loans or for financial or insurance
products.</div><div style="font-style: normal; font-size: 12px; color: rgb(0, 0,
0); font-weight: 400;"><br></div><div style="font-style: normal; font-size:
12px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-weight: 400;">To redeem your eCTM you must
present your Triangle Rewards Card (or Cardless Method) or Program Credit Card
to the cashier with your purchase. Please note that in some Canadian Tire stores
it may not be possible to simply provide your phone number when redeeming eCTM;
presentation of your Triangle Rewards Card or Program Credit Card or scanning of
the Program App may be required instead. eCTM can be used in combination with
paper Canadian Tire Money and/or in combination with any other form of
tender.</div><div style="font-style: normal; font-size: 12px; color: rgb(0, 0,
0); font-weight: 400;"><br></div><div style="font-style: normal; font-size:
12px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-weight: 400;">eCTM collected on a purchase
transaction cannot be redeemed on the same transaction.</div><div
style="font-style: normal; font-size: 12px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-weight:
400;"><br></div><div style="font-style: normal; font-size: 12px; color: rgb(0,
0, 0); font-weight: 400;">You may not redeem eCTM from more than one Triangle
Rewards Account for the same transaction.</div><div style="font-style: normal;
font-size: 12px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-weight: 400;"><br></div><div
style="font-style: normal; font-size: 12px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-weight:
400;">You must have enrolled in the Program, or have activated your Program
Credit Card, in order to redeem eCTM.</div><div style="font-style: normal;
font-size: 12px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-weight: 400;"><br></div><div
style="font-style: normal; font-size: 12px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);"><b>What
Happens When an Item is Returned?</b></div><div style="font-style: normal;
font-size: 12px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-weight: 400;">If you return an item
for a refund and had received eCTM when you purchased such item, such amount of
eCTM will be deducted from your Triangle Rewards Account.</div><div
style="font-style: normal; font-size: 12px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-weight:
400;"><br></div><div style="font-style: normal; font-size: 12px; color: rgb(0,
0, 0); font-weight: 400;">Merchandise that was purchased either in whole or in
part by redeeming eCTM may not be returned for cash, rather, the connected
Triangle Rewards Account will be credited with the same amount of eCTM used to
make the original purchase.</div><div style="font-style: normal; font-size:
12px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-weight: 400;"><br></div><div style="font-style:
normal; font-size: 12px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);"><b>Expiration of Electronic
Canadian Tire Money</b></div><div style="font-style: normal; font-size: 12px;
color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-weight: 400;">We may expire the eCTM in your Triangle
Rewards Account in the event that there has been a period of inactivity of 18
months or more. For the purposes of this section, “inactivity” means that there
has been neither a transaction in which you have collected eCTM, nor a
transaction in which you have redeemed eCTM during the period in
question.</div><div style="font-style: normal; font-size: 12px; color: rgb(0, 0,
0); font-weight: 400;"><br></div><div style="font-style: normal; font-size:
12px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);"><b>Termination of Membership and Cancellation of the
Program</b></div><div style="font-style: normal; font-size: 12px; color: rgb(0,
0, 0); font-weight: 400;">Membership may be terminated by Canadian Tire if any
of the following events occur: (A) the Member has failed to comply with any of
these terms and conditions, or Canadian Tire determines that the Member has
abused the Program or has made any misrepresentation or false statement to
Canadian Tire; (B) the Member dies; (C) the Member becomes bankrupt or insolvent
or any bankruptcy or insolvency proceedings are commenced by or against the
Member, (D) the Member is charged with a “designated offence” (as defined in the
Criminal Code (Canada)), (E) the Member’s Program Payment Card is terminated by
Canadian Tire Bank, or (F) Canadian Tire suspects the Member of any fraudulent
activity in connection with the Program or the use of a Program Payment
Card.</div><div style="font-style: normal; font-size: 12px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);
font-weight: 400;"><br></div><div style="font-style: normal; font-size: 12px;
color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-weight: 400;">A Member may choose to cancel his or her
membership by written notice sent to the address below or by calling Program
customer service.</div><div style="font-style: normal; font-size: 12px; color:
rgb(0, 0, 0); font-weight: 400;"><br></div><div style="font-style: normal;
font-size: 12px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-weight: 400;"><u>Termination or
cancellation of membership in the Program will result in the immediate closing
of the Member’s Triangle Rewards Account and the cancellation of all eCTM in
such Triangle Rewards Account without any compensation or other liability to the
Member. Termination of a Member’s Triangle Rewards Account will also result in
the Member no longer being able to use a Program Payment Card linked to the
Program.</u></div><div style="font-style: normal; font-size: 12px; color: rgb(0,
0, 0); font-weight: 400;"><br></div><div style="font-style: normal; font-size:
12px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-weight: 400;">Canadian Tire may, in its sole
discretion and at any time without prior notice either (i) cancel the Program or
(ii) except if you are a Member residing in Quebec, Ontario or such other
province where prohibited by law, establish a date upon which eCTM will expire
and may no longer be used.</div><div style="font-style: normal; font-size: 12px;
color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-weight: 400;"><br></div><div style="font-style:
normal; font-size: 12px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);"><b>Merging Triangle Rewards
Accounts</b></div><div style="font-style: normal; font-size: 12px; color: rgb(0,
0, 0); font-weight: 400;">At Canadian Tire’s discretion, Members may be able to
merge their Triangle Rewards Accounts into a single account. That merged account
will bear the Triangle Rewards Account number of one of the accounts being
merged and one Member will be designated as the holder of that account with full
power and authority to deal with the account, including closing it, and will
become the “Member” hereunder. All Members wishing to merge their Triangle
Rewards Accounts will need to consent to the merger and agree on which account
number will be designated as the number for the newly merged Triangle Rewards
Account and who the accountholder will be. All remaining Triangle Rewards
Account numbers will be cancelled and the persons who are not designated as the
accountholder will no longer be Members in the Program.</div><div

CAN I RETURN A PURCHASE TO ANY CANADIAN TIRE STORE?

Yes, purchases can be returned to any Canadian Tire store within 90 days of
purchase. Product must be in its original condition and packaging, and returned
with your receipt and issue of Canadian Tire "Money"®. Use our Store Locator to

Where can I find help signing on to My Account?
WHERE CAN I FIND HELP SIGNING ON TO MY ACCOUNT?

If you have forgotten your password, simply click on the Forgot Your Password
link, fill in the required fields and choose the SEND PASSWORD button. A new
password will be sent to the email address that you provided when you created
the account. If you are unable to remember your username or email address,

How do I check on product availability and store inventory?
HOW DO I CHECK ON PRODUCT AVAILABILITY AND STORE INVENTORY?

Fill out the “Please select a pickup location to check inventory” section found
on all product detail pages. This will identify all stores in your search area.
Select your preferred store from the ones identified and click the “Select
Store” button. Once this selection is made, store availability will appear on
all product detail pages.

How long will it take for my online exclusive order to be ready?
HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE FOR MY ONLINE EXCLUSIVE ORDER TO BE READY?

Depending on the vendor, items vary in delivery times.  You will be notified of
an estimated ship date within the confirmation email of your online order.
How can I check the status of my online exclusive order?

Can I make changes to or cancel my order once it has been placed?
CAN I MAKE CHANGES TO OR CANCEL MY ORDER ONCE IT HAS BEEN PLACED?

Once an order is placed, you cannot make changes, but you can cancel a product
or your entire order. Here’s how:


• If you have a Triangle ID account, follow these steps after signing in: 
1) Select Account from the top menu and go to Order History
 2) Select Cancel Order to cancel the entire order or Remove to delete an
individual item from your order. 


• If you do not have an account, you are still able to cancel items within your
order by following these steps:
1) Enter the email address used to place the order and your order number here. 
2) Click on Check order status.
3) Select Cancel to cancel individual items from your order or the entire order.
 
If you still require assistance, please contact Customer Support at
1-866-746-7287 to cancel the order.


If your order has already been shipped, we are unfortunately not able to cancel
your order.
 
If you cancel any items for which we have not issued a “Ready for Pickup” email,
the pre-authorization held on your card will be removed. After a “Ready for
Pickup” email has been issued, charges to your credit card will be reversed
within 24-48 hours.

Yes, you can shop online at canadiantire.ca and find many of the items you see
in your local store as well as many other items that are part of our Online
Exclusive assortment. 
Most products you see on our website can be picked up from your local store with
our free In-Store Pick Up or Curbside Pick Up and we also offer Ship to Home
starting at $5.99 on many items. 
There are some items that are not available to purchase online and must be
purchased in store only. To confirm if a product is eligible for shopping
online, check for the In-Store Pick Up or Ship to Home icons on the product
page.
Do I have to have an online account to make online purchases from
canadiantire.ca?
DO I HAVE TO HAVE AN ONLINE ACCOUNT TO MAKE ONLINE PURCHASES FROM
CANADIANTIRE.CA?

No. You do not need to have an account to purchase products online, though it
does provide additional benefits like access to your previous orders, ability to
store your address and credit card information to make future purchases easier
and access to your Triangle Rewards information if you are a member of the
program.
Are the prices the same as they are in store?
ARE THE PRICES THE SAME AS THEY ARE IN STORE?

We have attempted to match our prices on canadiantire.ca with those that you
will see in your local store. While we strive for pricing accuracy, market
conditions and competitive pressures can cause prices to change. 
Online pricing and product selection may also differ from your local store.


Can I still order an item that is out of stock?
CAN I STILL ORDER AN ITEM THAT IS OUT OF STOCK?

We will make every effort to make the product available to you. As long as it is
available in our Distribution Centre or from a vendor, you can purchase most
items online and we will notify you when it is ready for pickup at your store or
ready to be shipped to you.  


Is my online confirmation page considered an official receipt?
IS MY ONLINE CONFIRMATION PAGE CONSIDERED AN OFFICIAL RECEIPT?

No, your Official Sales Receipt will be provided to you when you complete your
pick-up transaction at the store. If your order was delivered to your home, the
receipt will be provided with your shipping documents.  
For all orders, we are now happy to provide you with an e-reciept in your
completed 'Thank you' email.
Please keep a copy of your receipt as you will need it to return or exchange
your item(s).

How do I know if Canadian Tire received my order?
HOW DO I KNOW IF CANADIAN TIRE RECEIVED MY ORDER?

Canadian Tire will send you a confirmation email letting you know that we have
received your order. A follow-up email is sent once your order is ready for
pickup or when it has been shipped.
If you are picking up your order, please wait for this ready for pick up emails
before heading to the store as it will have your 4-digit pick up code required
to complete the order.  


If I have placed an order for someone else, how can I make sure they know the
order is ready to be picked up or has shipped?
IF I HAVE PLACED AN ORDER FOR SOMEONE ELSE, HOW CAN I MAKE SURE THEY KNOW THE
ORDER IS READY TO BE PICKED UP OR HAS SHIPPED?

If you provide the recipient’s email address, they will be informed when the
order is ready for pickup or has shipped. If you do not provide an email
address, it will be your responsibility to contact them when the order is ready
and provide them with the Ready for Pickup or Shipped email.
If you are providing the recipient’s email address, please make sure you have
their permission to provide it to us.


What methods of payment do you accept online?
WHAT METHODS OF PAYMENT DO YOU ACCEPT ONLINE?

We accept Triangle™ World Elite Mastercard®, Triangle™ World Mastercard®,
Triangle™ Mastercard®, Masterpass, Visa, Visa Debit, Mastercard, Mastercard
Debit, American Express, and Canadian Tire Money.
At this time, we are unable to accept other credit/debit cards, gift cards, or
store credit for online purchases.


When is the full amount of my online purchase charged to my credit card?
WHEN IS THE FULL AMOUNT OF MY ONLINE PURCHASE CHARGED TO MY CREDIT CARD?

When you place an order, we retain a preauthorization for the full amount on
your credit card until the items are ready for pickup. When an item is ready for
pickup, your credit card is charged for that item. Preauthorization is retained
on any outstanding items on your order. A Ready for Pickup email will be sent to
the email address you provide when a payment is processed and items are ready
for pickup.

I have an issue with my order. How do I change or cancel my order?
I HAVE AN ISSUE WITH MY ORDER. HOW DO I CHANGE OR CANCEL MY ORDER?

You can modify your cart at any time prior to payment processing. If you need to
cancel your order once it has been placed, follow these steps after signing in
to your account: select Account from the top menu and go to Order History;
select Cancel Order to cancel the entire order or Remove to delete an individual

Support at 1-866-746-7287 to speak to an agent to cancel the order.

order to be picked up in Nova Scotia, the Nova Scotia HST (15%) will be applied

CORE CHARGE

What is a core charge?
WHAT IS A CORE CHARGE?

A core charge, sometimes called a casting charge, is a form of deposit you pay
on a car part until returning your old part. If you do not have the old part
with you at the time of purchase of the new part, you must pay the core charge.
That charge is refunded to you when you return the old part. Like a bottle
deposit, the charge is designed to encourage recycling.
When is a core charge applied?
WHEN IS A CORE CHARGE APPLIED?

Certain remanufactured parts such as alternators, starters, CV shafts, brake
calipers, and distributors contain a "core" or recyclable component. When you
purchase any of these parts, a core charge will be added to the purchase.


When you return the part, the recyclable component is returned to the part
manufacturer for rebuilding and recycling.
How do I receive a core charge refund?
HOW DO I RECEIVE A CORE CHARGE REFUND?

Exchange the old part at the time of purchase OR bring the old/original part, in
the replacement part's box, along with your purchase receipt to any Canadian
Tire store within 90 days of purchasing the replacement part.


Stores will inspect the returned part to ensure the recyclable components are
intact. If they are, the core charge will be returned. If they are not, then the
customer will not receive a core charge refund.

ENVIRONMENTAL FEE

What is an environmental fee?
WHAT IS AN ENVIRONMENTAL FEE?

An environmental fee is a fee that is collected to help fund the disposal and
recycling of household products that fall under provincial waste management
regulations. This fee finances the collection, recycling, reuse or, when that is
not possible, disposal of in the most environmentally-friendly way. In Quebec,
Bill 60 legislation requires that advertised product prices include
environmental fees and core charges. On canadiantire.ca, Quebec customers will
see their store's environmental fees and core charges clearly displayed in the
Total Price.


What items have an environmental fee?

The types of products which have an ecofee will depend on the provincial
regulations. However, generally Electronics, Paints, Hazardous products,
Batteries, Tires are some of the product groupings impacted by waste management
regulations.

What is a Bonus or Promo Card?

A Bonus or Promo Card is a reward of predetermined value issued as an incentive
to make a purchase during a specific event.
How do I redeem my Bonus/Promo Card?
HOW DO I REDEEM MY BONUS/PROMO CARD?

Bonus/Promo cards can be redeemed on your next in-store purchase at Canadian
Tire, within the specifid timeframe. The Bonus/Promo Card is not redeemable for
cash and may only be redeemed for merchandise at Canadian Tire retail stores.
Bonus/Promo cards must be presented and surrendered at time of use. Applicable
taxes will be charged on the total transaction value before deducting the
bonus/promo card value. One bonus/promo card per customer per transaction.
Bonus/Promo cards cannot be used on purchases of hunting and fishing licenses,
select services, previous purchases, gift cards and auto service labour
including any associated fees. Bonus/Promo cards cannot be used at Mark’s,
PitStop, Gas+ locations or for online or phone purchases or payments on a
Canadian Tire account. Bonus/Promo cards cannot be combined with any other
offer. Bonus/Promo cards cannot be applied to qualifying purchase. Upon return
of the qualifying purchase, bonus/promo card must be surrendered or the
bonus/promo card amount will be deducted from the refund amount. 


Can I use the Bonus or Promo Card to buy Gift Cards or at Canadian Tire gas

"Once you have downloaded the app to your device, click on the Canadian Tire app
icon to launch. 
Browsing products and the flyer work very similarly to the mobile website. Users
can select the departments, categories and subcategories they are interested in
browsing. Users can also type words into the search box to find what they are
looking for. 
The app also allows users visiting a store to scan the barcode on a product to
quickly access product information such as detailed features, pricing, ratings
and reviews, plus store availability. This is done by selecting the scan
functionality within the app. The user can then use the device camera to
""scan"" the barcode and find the product information. Simply hover over the
barcode and gently move the device until you get a successful read. It is also
important to note that the ability to read barcodes is only available on devices
that have autofocus functionality on the camera.
To locate the nearest store, the app can use the GPS location of the device. If
users do not grant permission to allow access to the GPS functionality, they can
alternatively select a store by entering a postal code or browse by province and
city to find the location they are looking for."

alternatively select a store by entering a postal code or browse by province and
city to find the location they are looking for.
When using the routing information, customers should always use caution and
follow traffic rules and local legislation regarding portable GPS devices when

Scanning products does not work properly. What's wrong?

"The product barcode scanning feature works only on devices with autofocus built
into the camera functionality. Older smartphones may not be able to access this
functionality. If the barcode is not clear on the product packaging, users may

No. Once you've selected which store you want to check, you can close the window
and navigate to another product. The store availability for each product you
view will be shown automatically. Should you want other stores, simply click on

Why can't I find my local Canadian Tire store on the list of results, even
though I selected the right city?

Does my Electronic Canadian Tire Money (eCTM) ever Expire?
DOES MY ELECTRONIC CANADIAN TIRE MONEY (ECTM) EVER EXPIRE?

"Effective December 1st, 2019 we may expire the electronic Canadian Tire Money
(eCTM) in your Triangle Rewards Account in the event that there has been a
period of inactivity of 18 months or more. “Inactivity” means that there has
been neither a transaction in which you have collected eCTM, nor a transaction
in which you have redeemed eCTM during the period in question.
We will commence the expiry of CT Money for inactive accounts as of December 1,
2019. This means that any account that neither collected nor redeemed CT Money
since June 1, 2018 may be subject to expiry."


How can I look up when I last used my Triangle Rewards Account?
HOW CAN I LOOK UP WHEN I LAST USED MY TRIANGLE REWARDS ACCOUNT?

Registered members can log into their Triangle Rewards account via the
Triangle.com website or use the Triangle app to see your transaction history.
Non-registered users can register online or via the app to see their transaction
history, or if you would like to remain unregistered, you will have to call the
Triangle Program customer service team at 1-800-226-8473 to determine the last
date of use.


Will there be a notification before my CT Money expires and how much in advance
can I expect it?
WILL THERE BE A NOTIFICATION BEFORE MY CT MONEY EXPIRES AND HOW MUCH IN ADVANCE
CAN I EXPECT IT?

Yes, you will be notified if you are a registered Triangle Rewards member and
have provided us with a valid email address. We will send you a notice of expiry
at least 30 days but no more than 60 days prior to expiration of your CT Money.
At that time, you will need to make an eligible transaction where you earn or
redeem your CT Money to remain in active status. People holding unregistered
Triangle Rewards cards are not yet members of the program, have not yet earned
any electronic Canadian Tire Money and will not receive a notification of
potential expiry since there is no way for us to contact you.


What if I do not want to purchase or redeem my CT Money right now? Can you do
something so that I won’t lose my CT Money?
WHAT IF I DO NOT WANT TO PURCHASE OR REDEEM MY CT MONEY RIGHT NOW? CAN YOU DO
SOMETHING SO THAT I WON’T LOSE MY CT MONEY?

To ensure your account remains in active status, you must complete and “earn” or
“redeem” transaction every 18 months. This is the only way to ensure that your
CT Money will not expire. For further assistance and any special circumstances,

Can I cancel my Triangle Rewards Account if I do not want to be a part of the
revised program Terms and Conditions?

You can change your address by logging into Triangle.com or by calling Customer

Can family members register under the same Triangle Rewards™ account?
CAN FAMILY MEMBERS REGISTER UNDER THE SAME TRIANGLE REWARDS™ ACCOUNT?

Each Triangle Rewards account can only be held by one person, however, family
members can collect together as a household with up to two additional key fobs
or by using the Triangle™ App. Alternatively, Triangle credit cardholders can
request supplementary credit cards for family members.


Can I cancel my Triangle Rewards™ card?
CAN I CANCEL MY TRIANGLE REWARDS™ CARD?

Yes, customers can close their account at any time. There is no fee for closing
an account, but they will lose any Canadian Tire Money® that they have
collected. If a customer would like to cancel an account they should call
Customer Service at 1-800-226-8473 Monday to Friday 8:00 am to 9:00 pm (EST) and
Saturday and Sunday 9:00 am to 5:00 pm (EST). Please note that if you have a
Triangle branded credit card and close your Triangle Rewards account, you will
also be closing your credit card account. 


Can I transfer electronic Canadian Tire Money® to another member?
CAN I TRANSFER ELECTRONIC CANADIAN TIRE MONEY® TO ANOTHER MEMBER?

Transfers are at the discretion of Canadian Tire. To request a transfer of
Canadian Tire Money®, please call Customer Service at 1-800-226-8473 Monday to

If your card is lost or stolen you should immediately Customer Service at

recover any Canadian Tire Money® that could be redeemed by a person presenting

in some time.

Is my login and password on the Triangle™ App the same as triangle.com?

Yes! You can sign in to the Triangle App using your Triangle ID. It is the same
credentials you would use to sign in on triangle.com or canadiantire.ca. If you
have a credit card Online Account, you can sign in to app using the same
username and password as you would on ctfs.com. 


Do I need a network connection to access the app when in store?
DO I NEED A NETWORK CONNECTION TO ACCESS THE APP WHEN IN STORE?

You do not need a network connection to access your Triangle Rewards™ barcode in
the app. However, when you are activating offers and checking your CT Money
balance you will need to be connected to a network.


Do I need to download multiple apps to sign up for offers?
DO I NEED TO DOWNLOAD MULTIPLE APPS TO SIGN UP FOR OFFERS?

Nope! It's a one stop shop for activating all your offers in the Triangle™ App.
You can view your personalized offers for Canadian Tire, Sport Chek and
