The Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA) provides $50 million over five
years to the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) to implement the “Energy Efficiency
Materials Pilot Program” and award grants to help nonprofits improve the energy
efficiency of their facilities. Installing  energy efficiency and
electrification measures can help nonprofits reduce operating costs, free up
resources to advance their core missions, set a good example of environmental
stewardship, and improve the health and wellness of their employees, volunteers,
and those who use their services. The following resources provide additional
information on energy efficiency and nonprofits.
