BUILDERS UKRAINE EMPOWERING UKRAINIAN BUILDERS IN THEIR FIGHT FOR FREEDOM AND DEMOCRACY On February 24, 2022, Russia launched an unprovoked, full-scale invasion of Ukraine. Russian forces have killed, raped, and tortured hundreds of thousands innocent Ukrainians, and abducted at least 19,546 Ukrainian children into Russian territory. Under relentless attack by Russia, the Ukrainian people have shown great resilience. We believe that Ukrainians are Builders who are fighting an autocratic Destroyer, to protect their freedom and democracy. In partnership with our program co-chairs, we have launched a campaign to keep the plight of Ukrainian people top of mind for Americans and the world. Here is how you can help Raise your voice Thousands of Ukrainian children were taken from their homes, families, and country. Once in Russia, their names are changed, their identities erased. Only a few hundred have been returned. Right now, 19,546 Ukrainian children are still missing. With every day that passes, the chances of returning these kids becomes smaller. Use our social media toolkit to spread the word and bring these children home.
