Wharf Malls x First Initiative Foundation - Flash Pop-up: Robotic Dinos

Unleash the inner dinosaur fanatic!
From 7 June to 10 July 2022, Wharf malls are working with First Initiative
Foundation (FIF) to present “Flash Pop-up: Robotic Dinos” to display two 1:1
robotic dinosaur installations — the Tyrannosaurus rex (T-rex) and Stegosaurus,
respectively at the Group’s flagship retail properties Harbour City and Times
Square. As Hong Kong’s first large-scale outdoor exhibitions after the fifth
wave of COVID-19, the public are invited to meet these two giants at no fee,
take photos and participate in a series of dinosaurs-themed activities.

Times Square showcases famous Thagomizer tall bearing Stegosaurus that is 3.7M
high x 9M long at “Open Piazza” on 7 June to 10 July. This pre-historic animal
is scientific accurate and custom built, which was reconstructed under the
supervision of paleontologists and with the latest scientific knowledge about
this animal.  It does not only look alive – it breathes and roars just like real
living animal.

Visitors can take pictures with the fascinating creatures for free, with the
iconic Hong Kong backdrop — the bustling city in Causeway Bay. Apart from that,
Times Square also organizes an array of dinosaur-themed activities, allowing you
to experience the dinosaur world in an all-round way. All proceeds of the
activities will be donated to First Initiative Foundation (FIF).

The Jurassic Adventure – Catch the ‘Stegosaurus Moment’

Share your adventure moments with the Stegosaurus with your beloved friends and
family! Starting from 7 Jun to 10 Jul 2022, visit Times Square and take some
creative snaps, videos or even a reel, and follow the below steps, then you will
be rewarded with ONE $100 Happy Rewards – It’s Shopping Time 2022 Shopping
Coupon!

 1. Register as “Happy Rewards Member” at Times Square
 2. Follow the official Instagram account of Times Square (@hktimessquare)
 3. Upload your creative snaps/ videos/ reels to Instagram and hashtag
    #TSJurassicAdventure and mention @hktimessquare (The Instagram account must
    be a public one)

*Daily quota applies, redemption is available on a first-come-first-serve basis

The Dinos Fiesta

Father’s Day is approaching, and it is always good to start an adventure with
your Super Hero Dad! Let’s join the Dinos Fiesta with your father! Starting from
11 Jun to 10 Jul 2022, upon following Times Square Facebook Page
(@hktimessquare) and like the post for the event, you will be receiving a Dinos
Fiesta Hat! Put the hat on and becoming part of the Dinosaur Gangs and enjoy the
fiesta at Times Square!

What’s more, from 18 to 19 Jun 2022, you can enjoy a free Milo Dinosaur Special
Drink* at Vanda (Shop 625 – 626, 6/F) when you participate in the Dinos Fiesta
and share the happiness with your beloved Super Hero Dad!

Dinosaur Academy @ Times Square

How can the little dinosaur fans miss the rare chance to explore the prehistoric
planet? The little dinosaur fans can become a dinosaur expert! On every weekend
during the exhibition period, kids can participate in the “Robotic Dinosaur
Workshop” upon the donation of HK$180, which will be hosted by the founder of
“Dinosaur @ Fossil Lab”, Mr. Lung Tak Chun and his team.

How to join?

 1. Get e-Ticket of “Dinosaurs Academy @ Times Square” via Times Square eShop
    (https://eshop.timessquare.com.hk/) by donation of HK$180, all revenue will
    be donated to First Initiative Foundation
 2. Learn about the history and the knowledge of Jurassic Period’s dinosaurs
 3. Get up close and take picture with ancient fossils
 4. Dinosaurs Art Jamming
 5. Redeem a “National Geographic” gift upon completing the academy

Date: 11 Jun – 9 Jul 2022 (Every Saturday, 3 sessions/ day)
Time (each session lasts for 40 mins):

 * Session 1: 10:00 – 10:40
 * Session 2: 11:00 – 11:40
 * Session 3: 12:00 – 12:40

Meet Up Location: G/F Open Piazza, Times Square (next to the Robotic
Stegosaurus)
Workshop Location: Next to Emperor Cinema 13/F, Times Square
Quota: 15 participants per session (each quota is valid for one participant
only)
Participant Age Range: 8 – 12
Language: Cantonese




TERMS & CONDITIONS

Catch the “Stegosaurus Moment”

 1. Promotion period is from 7 June to 10 July 2022.
 2. Each member can join this promotion once only.
 3. Upon redeeming the reward, member has to login Times Square Happy Rewards’
    membership page and redeem the “Catch the ‘Stegosaurus Moment’ e-Pass”.
 4. Present the redeemed e-Pass inside “My Wallet” and the relevant Instagram
    post (screen capture will not be accepted) to our staff.
 5. Instagram account shall be set as public.
 6. In case of any dispute, the decision of Times Square Limited and the
    participating outlets shall be final.

The Dinos Fiesta

 1. Promotion period is from 11 June to 10 July 2022.
 2. Upon redeeming the reward, member has to present the followed page of Times
    Square official Facebook and the liked post for this event via Facebook App/
    Web (screen capture will not be accepted) to our staff.
 3. Milo Dinosaur Special Drink will be delivered in form of redemption coupon.
    It can be redeemed at Vanda Times Square (Shop 625 -626, 6/F), upon any
    dine-in spending along with the redemption coupon. Please present valid
    redemption coupon to shop staff before ordering or settling the bill. A
    maximum of one redemption coupon can be used in each transaction. Each
    redemption coupon can only be used ONCE only and can only be used in Times
    Square. The coupon has to be used before expiry day and it shall be invalid
    after the expiry date.
 4. The Milo Dinosaur Special Drink Redemption Coupon is not exchangeable for
    cash and no cash refund is provided for unutilized amounts. The coupon will
    not be re-issued if lost, it will be invalid if found defaced or altered.
 5. Times Square reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions from
    time to time without prior notice.
 6. Times Square shall not be liable or construed as providing any guarantee as
    to the quality and availability of the food items, products and/or service
    provided by the merchant.
 7. In case of dispute, Times Square and participating merchant reserve the
    right of final decision.

Dinosaurs Academy

 1.  Only available for participants who aged 8 – 12.
 2.  Each e-Ticket can be used once only and valid for only one participant.
 3.  Please present the purchased e-Ticket to staff for redeeming one pack of
     workshop material.
 4.  This e-Ticket is only applicable to “Dinosaur Academy” at the designated
     time slot, date and venue.
 5.  Please visit the venue 5 mins before the workshop start. Late comers will
     not be waited.
 6.  Participants are required to wear face mask all time. And our staff will
     arrange body temperature measurement and provide hand sanitizer for each
     participant.
 7.  Person(s) is (are) prohibited for entry if you are having fever, coughing
     or respiratory symptoms or are required to undergo a compulsory quarantine
     during the designated period.
 8.  e-Ticket is not transferable.
 9.  Participants must abide by the rules and arrangements of the event.
 10. If the event has to be cancelled due to Reb/ Black Rainstorm Warning,
     Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal No. 3 or above is/are in force during or
     before the event period(s), Times Square staff will notify the
     participant(s) of the arrangements before 9am. Participants will be
     refunded in full.
 11. This e-Ticket cannot be exchanged for cash. An expired, unused e-Ticket
     will not be extended nor re-issued.
 12. An order cannot be cancelled/returned/changed once it has been made. All
     purchases are non-refundable.
 13. Times Square reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions from
     time to time without prior notice.
 14. In case of dispute, Times Square reserves the right of final decision.

How to use the e-Ticket?

 1. A confirmation email will be sent to customer within 24 hours after
    successfully placing the order.
 2. A redemption link will be sent together with the confirmation email or you
    may check the link after logging-in your eShop account.
 3. Please present the redemption link to our staff at the Robotic Stegosaurus
    Installation at Open Piazza 5 minutes before the workshop starts on the
    designated date.
 4. Another confirmation email will be sent after completing the redemption.
