ADVANCED CURRICULUM

 

 

As an American international school in Egypt,  AISE offers a standards-based
American curriculum from KG1 to Grade 12, with the option of the International
Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma in Grades 11 and 12. Our technology-embedded learning
approach brings together STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts,
Mathematics) learning, project-based learning (PBL) with cross-curricular links
and design thinking.

 


AIS-MAIN FACILITIES

 

 

Our facilities are designed to include technology-enabled classrooms, STEAM Labs
and maker spaces. A multi-level library, equipped with first
edition books, digital resources, and learning hub, while art studios, music
rooms and performance spaces build visual and performing arts skills. The
sizeable athletics complex boasts excellent sporting facilities, with a swimming
pool, large indoor gymnasium, basketball courts, regulation-sized soccer field
with a 400-meter track.


LEGACY OF EXCELLENCE

 

 

As an Esol Education school, American School of Egypt enjoys a rich heritage of
over 45 years of educational excellence, part of a global community of over
10,000 students. Thousands of graduates from Esol schools have matriculated to
leading universities, with recent graduates currently attending the world’s top
50 schools, including University College London, London School of Economics,
Warrick, Manchester, King's College, Erasmus, University of Amsterdam, McGill,
University of Toronto, NYU, UCLA, Harvard, MIT and Columbia University.

Last week, AIS organized a week-long donation campaign for the aid of Gaza in
collaboration with the Egyptian Red Crescent. Our families and students have
been donating to the ERC to help support those impacted by the incidents and
severe circumstances in Palestine. The week culminated with the donation of a
truckload of clothes, which was a coordinated effort by many of our students and
parents. The total amount of direct donations is 266,323 EGP, and nearly 2.5
tons of in-kind contributions (clothing, canned food, baby food formulas, etc.)

AIS Egypt also organized a moment of silence during the morning lines in support
of Gaza, expressing our compassion and empathy with those who were affected by
the current situation.

Students and staff wrote notes of encouragement and support on the donation
bags. We are so proud of our students and community, who have shown compassion
and understanding in such a difficult time. Together, we are making the world a
better place.
