I am a linguist, ethnographer, author, filmmaker, and photographer based on
Bowen Island, British Columbia, Canada.
I do field work among the Eastern Penan people in the Malaysian state of Sarawak
in Borneo.
I will not bore you with the story of my life -- not yet. That comes on page
two.
My domain name, rimba, is a Malay word meaning ‘jungle’ or ‘primary forest’.
