I’m so thankful to to be in a union, especially during this COVID-19 crisis
because we get to use our voice and power to make sure we and our patients are
safe. We have a COVID-19 bargaining committee at our hospital, and because of
that, we can demand patient safety, proper PPE, compensation, and the ability to
advocate for our patients and employees who are in at-risk groups. Because of
our power, when management refuses to offer common sense protections, we can
push back and demand they do what is right! Now, more than ever, we need to be
united and union strong. I’m a proud union member.”
