CONCEALED HANDGUN LICENSE TRAINING

We offer the most in depth concealed carry class anywhere.

 

Our comprehensive approach is a little different. Not only do we cover the basic
information required by the state, but our class is for people who want more;
People who know that context is as important as content and want to understand
the “why” behind things. Any “instructor” can read PowerPoint slides out loud to
a captive audience. Our discussion-based style of instruction facilitates real
learning— not rote memorization. This class covers a variety of important topics
including the basics of safe gun handling; types of firearms (and the pros and
cons of each); equipment selection; use-of-force law; where you can and cannot
carry; the psychology, physiology, and anatomy of violence; legal concerns vs.
ethical or moral concerns; mindset preparedness; and the aftermath of a shooting
from the perspective of an instructor who is a defensive gunfight survivor.

Cancellations will incur a 15% cancellation fee. There is no fee for
rescheduling on a different available date. You must reschedule or cancel at
least 48 hours in advance. Email us to reschedule or cancel


CHL APPLICATION

Once you have selected a class date, you can get ahead by scheduling an
appointment with your local county Sheriff’s Office for a date immediately
following the attendance of the class. Click on your local Sheriff below.




Our course offers the training and certification you need to apply for your
Oregon, Utah, and Florida licenses. Classes are held in our dedicated classroom
in the gun shop.

With an Oregon License, you may carry in the following states (23):

OR, AK, MT, ID, UT, AZ, SD, NE, KS, OK, IA, MO, AR, MS, AL, TN, KY, IN, OH, NC,
VA, VT, *MI

(*with Oregon Resident permit only)

By adding the Utah certification, it also adds the following states:

WA, NV, AZ, MT, WY, ND, TX, WI, LA, GA, WV, DE.

The following states are Constitutional carry states. In these states anyone who
may legally possess a firearm, may carry it concealed without a specific license
or permit:

AK, AZ, KS, ME, MS, VT, and WV
