Meeting dates for 2019

Details of the Ringwood and Croydon venues

Come along and enjoy friendly tabletop wargaming with miniature figures.
Historical games of all periods, fantasy, steampunk and science fiction.
Also strategy board games and role playing games. Learn how to paint miniature
figures, make great scenery, improve your tactics and above all, have fun.

Sean celebrated St Patrick's Day in style as this busy Mitcham meeting displayed
all manner of tabletop strategy games.

A large team of pilots took to the skies in Wings of Glory as a practise for the
huge upcoming "Bloody April" anniversary.

This Croydon meeting enjoyed a wide variety of games.

Games included Cold Steel (25mm Napoleonics), Team Yankee (1980s Cold War),
Warmachine (28mm sci-fi), Art de la Guerre (15mm Ancient and Medieval) and
other tabletop wargames.

The last meeting of 2015 for NWA was at the Croydon venue. It featured some
massive multpiplayer medieval mayhem in the form of the annual "Cry Havoc"
event.

Three different games, each using a different rule set, were part of this
meeting at Croydon.

NWA SALES NIGHT

Friday 4th April at the Mitcham venue.

Sale from 7:15pm to 10:30pm. Wargaming from 7:00pm to midnight.

Secondhand pre-loved wargaming items from members as well as some new &
secondhand stuff from traders. Some of the people we have attending are Sparrow
Cast Miniatures, War Game Miniatures, quite a fewl private sellers and of course
the NWA Bring and Buy table. Come and catch a bargain or two (or three, or four
. . .).

One wargamer's junk is another wargamer's treasure.

 Another busy Mitcham meeting for NWA with plenty of people. Lots of games were
supplemented by a scenery making and painting night organised by Brendan.

There was a great variety of games to choose from: World War 2, Warhammer 40K,
The Hobbit, Seven Years War and SAGA Dark Age Skirmish just to name a few in
reverse alphabetical order for a change.

They established a expanding kingdom that eventually became Russia.

The Rus have some interesting abilities on the "Battle Board" with great names
such as "Biting Like Wolves" and "Endless Wastes".
