CREATING UNIFIED IDENTITY SECURITY; THE ACCELERATING NEED FOR IDENTITY-CENTRED
APPROACHES TO CYBER RESILIENCE

Wednesday, 15 Jun 2022
08:30 - 10:30
The Ivy Tower Bridge, London
 * Overview
 * Sign Up

There is an accelerating need to take an identity-centric approach to
information security. Historically, companies have focused on infrastructure
perimeter, and have used firewalls to protect everything from outside attacks.
However, with many breaches originating inside the firewall, and with identity
theft an ever-present problem, there is a need for a different approach.

As well as protecting data and files, organisations also need to control access
to IT systems. They can do this by managing identities. But this is not a simple
task. The number of individual identities within typical organisations has risen
exponentially in recent years. And complexity is increasing because companies
operate in multiple environments, across the private and public cloud, a trend
made stronger because of the pandemic.

The “identity sprawl” caused by these trends requires a new way of looking at
security. Forward-thinking organisations are adopting an identity-first approach
to cyber security, with Zero Trust at its heart. To succeed, this approach
brings unified identity security with three distinct but inter-related layers:
access management; privileged access management; and identity governance.

Join us for this discussion on the importance of strong identity management for
cyber security, and how best to achieve it.

THE QUESTIONS WE WILL EXPLORE

During the meeting we will focus on topics such as:

 * Why is identity emerging as the principal security parameter, and what is
   accelerating this trend?
 * How can organisations move to an environment where identity is central to
everything, and what can be done to make this the new normal?
 * What role does “Zero Trust” play, and how can systems be put in place to
ensure that all identities are verified without adding unnecessary burdens to
   internal processes and operational efficiency?
 * How can organisations ensure that all entities, including humans and
machines, have appropriate identities that can be validated?
 * What are the metrics that need to be tracked to ensure that identity
   management is taking place effectively?

WHO IS INVITED?

This breakfast meeting is designed for senior business decision makers who wish
to discuss taking an identity centric approach to cyber security. Delegates will
be employed as senior IT and information security decision makers (CISO, CIO,
Head of Infrastructure. Head of Digitalization) in large (2000+ employees)
organisations across industry.

Be one of 10 senior business decision makers around our breakfast table at the
The Ivy, Tower Bridge in central London. For any enquiries, please contact
