This is a bare bones, simple, adjustable height desk which is exactly what I was
looking for. The design allows for optimal space underneath for my legs with no
weird protrusions hitting my knees.The frame is well made and easy to put
together with the provided instructions.I think it's an extremely fair price for
what you're getting compared to other electric desks at around 1.5x-2x the
price. The motor is pretty smooth and quiet (see attached video). My buddy has a
premium version from a different brand that is a little smoother and quieter but
in my opinion it doesn't really matter, I'm not riding this thing on the freeway
I'm adjusting the height. Think of this as the Honda Accord vs the more
expensive BMW, both work but one has a few more bells and whistles.

I needed a standing desk for my work setup that consists of: 1 laptop w/stand,
(2) 24-inch monitors, keyboard, mouse, and docking station (to connect it all).
I also needed space for my personal laptop storage when not in use. Did I
mention that I also have limited space (I needed all of this to fit in a very
small corner of my bedroom)? Both my husband and I work from home and need
separate work spaces since we’re both on meetings for some of our work day.
I purchased the 48” desktop and everything fits perfectly and feels comfortable
when I’m working. Setup wasn’t difficult and took me and my husband about 1 hour
to complete. I give it 4 stars because the desk isn’t as sturdy as I’d like it
to be. There is a bit of movement if I lean in too hard or fast on the desktop,
but other than that this is a great desk for the price. 9/10 would buy again and
recommend to anyone looking for a reasonably priced standing desk.
As you can see from my pictures, I have both monitors dual-mounted in the corner
and my laptop open and resting on a stand. I am able to work with all 3 screens
comfortably everyday. Not pictured is my personal laptop which is usually stored
under the screen on the right when not in use. I switch easily between laptops
when needed, using a docking station to connect all devices. There’s plenty of
room on this size desktop!

I purchased this desk for work because I spend a lot of time on the computer and
wanted to find a way to keep myself from sitting all day long. This desk is
perfect for staying on your feet!
What do I like?
I really like the dimensions of the desk's surface because it allows room for
everything I need within my reach. I also like the electric height adjusting
function. It's so easy to use, as well as quick, and fairly quiet. It wasn't
super hard to put together either, though there are quite a few steps involved.
What I don't like?
I don't like that the top was delivered separately from the base, but mostly
just because I wanted it when I wanted it. I do understand why they ship
separately though. It's rather large, heavy equipment. I also don't like that
there are no drawers or shelving options for this desk. I would have loved to be
able to organize my supplies better and more efficiently.
All in all, this is a very sturdy, sleek black adjustable desk. I really like
the way it works and some of my co-workers are even jealous!

I purchased the Flexispot EC1 Electric Standing Desk, which in my view is of the
best value with its 48 in x 30 in desk surface providing more room to set up my
dual 27-in monitors with just the right amount of the length of the 48 inch
dimension of the desk, but the most significant advantage of this desk, at least
for me, is the width of the desk at 30 in (from front to back), giving enough
space of using the desk as an generous work space for writing, reading, as well
as any task that I need a large surface to work on, particularly with the height
adjustment, making it suitable for any projects that might require a standing
versus a sitting position, giving this desk immense flexibility for carrying out
different tasks in either a sitting or standing position, making it more than a
desk for doing computer work.
I prefer the standing desk over the standing desk converter, which is powered by
a manual hydraulic lifter for multiple reasons, with first and foremost being
the lack of working space in the standing desk converter, which is designed with
enough space only for a keyboard and a mouse without much extra space, secondly
with the difficulties making fine adjustment to the height of the desk, simply
because the difficulties in lifting the hydraulic mechanism, and last but not
the least that by nature the standing desk converter is not sturdy enough for
leaning, which I tend to do after standing for a prolonged period, and
consequently, I gave up on the standing desk converter that I purchased and
returned the product to the company after testing it for about several weeks,
even though it is more economical.
After I set up the electric standing desk, I could immediately see the benefits
of the desk because of its construction, sturdy and well built, with smoothing
and quiet lifting mechanism that is very impressive to observe considering the
weight of the desktop itself and the monitors that I placed top of the desk, but
the most beneficial features of the desk is the seamless lifting mechanisms
allowing adjustment of desk to any height, giving me the best position to work
on whether in standing and sitting position, making my working environment more
pleasant, pleasurable, and ergonomic for any tasks to be performed on this desk,
and for the price of this desk, it is probably the best purchase that I have
made for quite some time, and if you do not mind the color of the desk, you can
receive a $40 rebate currently on Amazon for a desk with a white top and silver
leg posts, which I chose without any hesitation, but still if you are interested
in other colors, the costs of the Flexispot standing desk is a bargain in
comparison to similar products from other companies.
Last but not the least is the service that I have received from Flexispot in
taking care a problem that came with the leg post with the motor, which was
defective in fitting the leg of the desk with the screws were not long enough to
reach the nut on the leg post, and my frustration was communicated to the chat
support agent, whom I would like to mention her name being Nina, because she
made all the difference in calming me down by patiently providing all the
necessary information to help me to resolve the issues in arranging a
replacement leg post to resolve the situation, and her kindness and generosity
in taking the time in helping me to resolve the problem made all the
differences, and for that I would like express my gratitude.
In summary, Flexispot makes a great product, other than the problem that I have
encountered with the leg post, the desk is strong, sturdy, smooth in lifting and
lowering, great height both for standing and sitting, and I like the desk so
much, I might consider purchasing another one for my wife's office, something to
think about for her next birthday!

writing or drawing with a gap in the middle like other standing desks.
A few complaints:
1.The dimensions measured 55x27.5 vs 55x28 advertised.
2. The wiring holding clip is totally useless as shown in one of the photos. The
glue is too weak and will soon fall off back of table top.
3. A few memory setting button should not increase cost by a few dollars. It is
nice to have.
4. The center extension bar screw to table top require a drill since does not
have predrill holes. It can be overcome with pressure one the screw driver.
5. I did lose a screw that tighten the extension bar. But it does not seem to
effect the table stability.
These are minor problems that doesn't impact overall positive experience

I only just received this desk & put it together. Wasn’t complex, took about
20-30 minutes but only because some of the steps weren’t clear. End result seems
great so far! Construction seems solid & the desk raises from sitting to
standing quite smoothly.
My only challenge with this desk relates to the material used for the top of the
desk & cable management of the power source. The desk top material shows
fingerprints, marks, pretty much anything with high visibility. Impossible to
keep clean. For cable management, the package comes with some adhesive wire
clips, but the adhesive isn’t strong enough to hold the wire to the desk. At
this point I’ve given up & the wire just hangs loose from the desk, but I plan
to purchase something more sturdy for cable management.
