OTHER TOOLS: New/Update voter Registration Request An Absentee Ballot New/Update voter Registration ONLINE VOTER REGISTRATION IS CLOSED Voter registration is closed until the day after the upcoming election on November 7, 2023. Any voter registrations received will be held by the county clerk until then. Election day registration will be available at your precinct polling location. To register to vote on election day you must appear in person at your precinct polling location with proof of identity and address (Idaho Code 34-408A). Click here for Election dates. ONLINE ABSENTEE BALLOT REQUESTS ARE CLOSED The deadline for requesting an absentee ballot for the upcoming election has passed. The online absentee ballot request system will reopen the day after the next election, and you may request an absentee ballot for any future elections in the year. ONLINE ABSENTEE BALLOT REQUESTS ARE UNDERGOING MAINTENANCE Online Absentee Ballot Requests are currently undergoing maintenance and will be back online as soon as possible. We apologize for the inconvenience. In the meantime, you may request a 2022 Absentee Ballot using the PDF Absentee Request Form and submitting it to your County Clerk's office either in person, or by mail. Request An Absentee Ballot IDAHO MILITARY AND OVERSEAS CITIZENS - UOCAVA UOCAVA voters are Idahoans who are: 1. Active members of the U.S. military who are currently absent from their Idaho residence due to deployment; or 2. Spouses or dependents of #1 who, due to the deployment of #1, are absent from their Idaho residence; or 3. Currently living outside the United States. Request your absentee ballot from the Federal Voting Assistance Program.
