Getting Incorrect password message repeatedly for network connection If you get an Incorrect password message when trying to connect the printer to your Wi-Fi network, enter the password again. Make sure you are entering the correct password. If you continue to get the Incorrect password message, you might need to adjust router settings to connect the printer to the network. Access the settings of your router and turn off Fast Transmission, Fast Roaming, or 802.11r. Depending on the router model, instructions to access router settings might be within an app, printed on the router itself, or included in instructional materials that came with the router.
