tool during the weeks leading up to the winter break for the entire class.
It’s great for reinforcing spelling skills and vocabulary while keeping kids

 2. Holiday Gatherings: Print out a bunch of these word searches to keep at the
kids’ table during holiday parties. It’s a fun way to entertain children and

VARIATIONS FOR USING THE CHRISTMAS WORD SEARCH PRINTABLE

Looking to mix things up a bit? Here are a few fun variations for using
the Christmas word search printable:

 1. Add Your Own Words: After completing the original word search, challenge
yourself or your kids to create a list of new holiday-themed words. Use
colored pencils to write those new words into the puzzle grid of letters in
    the shape of a square.
 2. Coloring Contest: For some extra fun, turn the coloring part of the
printable into a contest. Let everyone color in the Christmas objects and
vote on the most creative or festive coloring design.
 3. Timed Challenge: Make the word search a timed activity. See how fast
everyone can complete the word search, and then have a relaxing coloring
session after the competitive part is over. Beat the clock to see who finds
the elusive words the quickest. This is a delightful way to add a little bit
of friendly competition to the Christmas tradition.
