WHAT WE DO AT THE BAY AREA MASTERMIND

Each month, your local Bay Area Mastermind group gets together for a full day of
working ON your business – instead of IN the business.

While some months may feature guest expert speakers, the bulk of the day is
spent on dedicated Member Hot Seats where members share four main topics.

First, members share what they’ve accomplished in the past month – especially
from their list of accountability items that they committed to completing.

Next, members share what’s been working – and what’s not been working.

And most importantly, members share where they need help. This is where the
group of fellow entrepreneurs and founders can provide peer support, peer
advisory, and feedback for each other as a “board of directors”, challenge
assumptions, brainstorm ideas, and ask the questions that employees, partners,
spouses, vendors, friends, and family don’t – or won’t – ask.

Additionally, members often share resources of value to the group, for example
what books they’ve been reading, what conferences they’ve gone to or are going
to, vendors they’ve started working with, and more.

These mastermind partners are really what the groups are about. Masterminding is
when a regular group of people gather for “inner circle” mastermind group
meetings, who have only your best interests at heart. And visa versa with you
looking out for them, too!


WHO ATTENDS THE MASTERMIND GROUP

The Bay Area Mastermind is comprised exclusively of growth focused founders,
entrepreneurs and business owners.

Members are lifelong learners committed to both business and personal growth.

Businesses are post-revenue (i.e. beyond the “idea” phase), are cash flow
positive, and are looking to scale up.

Annual revenue wise, members are typically in the $500,000 to $5,000,000 gross
revenue range and are profitable. Some members are lower – but are highly
profitable – and other members are upwards of $10mm/year.

Members aren’t just “solopreneurs” – they have a team supporting them. On the
small side, this may be just a VA, admin, or assistant. On the larger side, this
could include a C suite (CEO, CMO, COO), etc.

BENEFITS OF MASTERMIND GROUPS

How can a Mastermind Group help you and your business?

Mastermind groups help founders, entrepreneurs, and business owners in a few
major ways. Not every members needs help or support in every area, and where in
our business and life we need help may change each month.

Being part of a mastermind group helps you stay accountable to your goals and
commitments. The mastermind group holds you responsible for taking action on
your action items as we note down and then share with the group after the
meeting each members’ accountability items that they’ll take action on between
meetings. This kind of accountability plus the action plans are one of the big
reasons that founders start a mastermind group or join a mastermind group like
our Bay Area Mastermind.

Members are all growth focused and being part of a mastermind group fosters this
continuous learning and personal development. Not only do you learn from the
other members in the group and gain insights from their experiences, but you’re
able to receive coaching and mentorship from a group of people that have “been
there, done that.”

Being part of a supportive community of like-minded growth-focused business
owners provides the motivation and inspiration you need to grow. Hearing – and
sharing – successes, challenges, and wins within the group fuels that inner fire
us entrepreneurs have burning inside.

We use the dedicated time during our mastermind to work on the business – not in

MASTERMIND GROUP MEMBERSHIP



Membership in the Bay Area Mastermind is by Application Only and is specifically
for entrepreneurs looking for a “board of directors” of peers to help each other
and follow in the footsteps of Napoleon Hill and Andrew Carnegie by leveraging
the power of the “Master Mind.”

(Yes, the very same Napoleon Hill, author of “Think and Grow Rich“! If you
haven’t read Hill’s Think and Grow Rich, that’s a good place to start!)

To join a mastermind group, you’ll need complete the application process as
follows:

 1. Submit a Mastermind Group Application
 2. Review your application with Jeremy Shapiro, Mastermind Group Facilitator
 3. Invest in a one day Mastermind Test Drive


NEARBY MASTERMIND GROUPS

“Is there a business mastermind group near me?” is one of the first questions we
ask after we learn about the Power of a Master Mind. You may even have the false
assumption that “there often aren’t mastermind groups near me!”, but fear not!

If you’re looking for a nearby Mastermind Group and you’re in the San Francisco
Bay Area, you’re in luck. Bay Area Mastermind members come together once a month
in downtown San Jose from as far south as Santa Cruz, as far north as San
Francisco and over the bridge in Marin County, and as far East as Oakland.

The Bay Area Mastermind services San Jose, Santa Cruz, San Francisco, Menlo
Park, Palo Alto, Santa Clara, Sunnyvale, Campbell, and more.

Farther away? Some members fly in or join us virtually by Zoom video conference
for an online Mastermind group. We have members and guests join us for our
