What started as a problem to solve at home for Scott Cook, turned into a company
being founded in 1983 with Tom Proulx. After rapid growth in the late 80s and
early 90s, Intuit went public in 1993.

GROWTH

For fiscal year 2022, Intuit had total revenue of $12.7 billion, up 32%,
including the addition of Mailchimp and a full year of Credit Karma. Excluding
Mailchimp, revenue grew 24%. Total revenue growth was fueled by 38% growth for
the Small Business and Self-Employed Group, which includes 16 points from
Mailchimp. Consumer Group revenue grew 10%, and Credit Karma revenue was $1.8
billion, up 58% on a pro forma basis year-over-year.




Combined Platform revenue, which includes the Small Business and Self-Employed
Group Online Ecosystem, TurboTax Online and Credit Karma, increased 45% to $9.6
billion. This includes 11 points from the addition of Mailchimp.
