DISCOVER
THE ARTISTRY OF
MAGGIE LATTIMORE

ABOUT MAGGIE

Maggie Lattimore, a Grammy-nominated mezzo-soprano, has received high acclaim
for her "glorious instrument" and has been dubbed an "undisputed star." Critics
have also proclaimed, "Ms. Lattimore has it all: looks, intelligence,
musicianship, personality, technique, and a voice of bewitching amber color."
She began her career singing the florid works of Handel, Rossini, and Mozart but
has recently expanded her repertoire to include the works of Mahler, Verdi, and
Wagner, making her one of the most versatile mezzo-sopranos performing today.

Ms. Lattimore has performed with some of the most renowned arts organizations in
the world. These include The Metropolitan Opera, Lyric Opera of Chicago, Houston
Grand Opera, San Diego Opera,  Florida Grand Opera, and Dutch National Opera, to
name just a few. Maggie has graced the concert stages of Carnegie Hall, Symphony
Hall, Geffen Hall, and many others, with symphony orchestras that include The
New York Philharmonic, Boston Symphony, Houston Symphony, The Saint Paul
Chamber, and Boston Baroque Orchestra, Louisiana Philharmonic, The Minnesota
Orchestra, Pacific Symphony, Orquestra Sinfónica Nacional de México and
Orquestra Sinfónica Nacional de Costa Rica.

This season, she joins the Lyric Opera of Chicago for Klaus Guth's highly
praised production of Jenufa and then Gloriæ Dei Cantores for Handel's Messiah
in Orleans, Massachusetts. She will join the South Dakota Symphony for Mahler's
Third Symphony and Master Voices for Ricky Ian Gordon's "The Grapes of Wrath" at
New York's prestigious Carnegie Hall, where she will perform the role of Ma
Joad. Finally, she will end the season with the Pacific Symphony in Costa Mesa,
CA, for Beethoven's Symphony No. 9.

Last season, Ms. Lattimore performed Mozart's Requiem and Brahms' Alto Rhapsodie
with The Riverside Choral Society at Carnegie Hall and Verdi Requiem, once again
at Carnegie, with MidAmerica Productions and Orquesta Sinfonica de Costa Rica.

Ms. Lattimore is a Crane School of Music graduate at the State University of New
York at Potsdam and of the distinguished Metropolitan Opera Young Artist
Development Program. She has received numerous awards, including the Grand Prize
of The Metropolitan Opera National Council Auditions, the Eleanor McCollum Award
from the Houston Grand Opera Studio, a Jacobson Study Grant from the Richard
Tucker Foundation, and the prestigious Vienna Award from the George London
Foundation.
