testament to the importance of our conservation efforts.<br> <br> The recorded bird species in the area include the EPBC-listed Southern Whiteface and Diamond Firetail and the State-listed White-winged Chough.<br> <br>
Baseline biological surveys and other activities are required, and the results will provide initial conservation management recommendations and inform a more detailed reserve management plan.<br> <br> We look forward to

The Forever Nature Fund was established in December 2022 to raise capital to purchase and manage critical habitat areas that are prioritised using data-driven scientific and environmental assessment tools. The Fund will enable Nature
Foundation’s team to act quickly and decisively when a property of high conservation value is available for purchase.<br> <br> Habitat loss and land clearing have caused the extinction of 62 Australian terrestrial species. Between
2000 and 2017, over 7.7 million hectares of land habitat was cleared in Australia (Source: DCCEEW 2021 Australia State of the Environment Report).<br> <br> The compounding impacts of climate change are accelerating the decline of
Australia’s biodiversity, with increasing numbers of species and ecological communities listed as threatened. This makes our mission to protect and restore critical habitats more crucial than ever.<br> <br> To realise a
nature-positive future where biodiversity is secure and our life-support system thrives forever, the Nature Foundation aims to purchase land with high biodiversity value to create more critical refuges for Australian wildlife.<br>
