DIAR RAS AL-HADD PROJECT - OMAN

   

Qatari Diar Ras Al Hadd Development Company (QDRH) was established as a result
of a partnership between Qatari Diar Real Estate Investment Company (Qatar) and
Oman Tourism Development Company (Omran – representing the Government of Oman)
by 70-30 per cent in order to develop a multi-use project in Ras Al Hadd.

Ras Al Hadd is a unique location. It is the first point in the Gulf where the
sun rises. It is known for the diversity of its marine life and as being the
meeting point of the two habitats of the Gulf and the Arabian Sea. Ras Al Hadd
is recognized as the most important breeding ground for green sea turtles and is
home to a wide variety of birds.

DIAR RAS AL-HADD PROJECT

Ras Al Hadd development is located in Sur, 150 Km away from Muscat; a city that
is famous for marine industries and life. This eco-themed project delivers a
number of unique tourist attractions within the master plan, as well as the
heritage village which will celebrate the rich history of Omani culture.

The resort and residential developments, as well as the attractions, firmly
adhere to the core themes of sustainability and responsible tourism management.
In addition, Ras Al Hadd caters to emerging trends in the tourism sector
globally, and when complete will provide tourists and visitors with a stunning

The hotel is designed for 200 keys. It also includes a swimming pool of a length
of 106 meters, which will be the longest swimming pool in the country.

CHEDI VILLAS (50 KEYS)

Large landscaped gardens, walkways, abundant greenery and top end amenties are
the main features of chedi villas. The project plan consists of 50 Chedi villas.

CHEDI FITNESS, WELLNESS AND SPA

The wellness center will be a state-of-the-art establishment that offers health
services for the body and mind, maintain a perfect balance between traditions
and innovation.

SPECIALTY RESTAURANT

The multi-cuisine modern specialty restaurant is located on the coast withan
open veranda that offers a majestic view into the horizon.


LOCALIZATION
AND TOURIST ATTRACTION

Raʾs al-Ḥadd (Arabic: رَأْس ٱلْحَدّ‎) is a village in Ash Sharqiyah district in
Oman. It is on a point at the entrance to the Gulf of Oman. The beaches at Ras
al Hadd and nearby Ra's al-Jinz are known as a breeding ground for green sea
turtles.
