This is to the enjoyment of no one, but you have to fill silences somehow. And
if the notification happens while I’m out in public, it gives me something to
say, which is: “Oops, it’s my bedtime!” At which point I show that, on my phone,
it says it’s my bedtime. The push-alert reminder about bedtime feels sweet -
like my phone is looking out for me, telling me to go to bed. As I keep my phone
on my bedside table, I am not sure how it would have any of this information,
but also I don’t need it, because I know how I sleep, which is: not great. The
Bedtime section also offers various data about the quality of your sleep,
apparently by tracking your movement in bed. At bedtime, your phone chimes with
a few notes from Brahms’s Lullaby and tells you that, if you’d like to get
however many hours of sleep there are between your set bedtime and wake-up
times, it is now time for bed. There’s a tab in your clock app called “Bedtime.”
Have you looked at it? Inside, you can set a bedtime and a wake-up time for
yourself. (There’s a particularly bad one called “By the Sea,” which is a harsh
seaside-themed tone-song, in case you’d like to feel frightened awake but also
like you’re on vacation.) I don’t know why anyone would want to wake up to any
of these, but luckily you don’t have to, and I will tell you how not to. Or
they’re like “Marimba,” which is even worse. You know how all of the iPhone
alarm options are like this: HONK, HONK, HONK, HONK, REEEEAAAR, REEAAAR,
WHOOOOOP, BEEP, BEEP, BEEP, BEEP, BEEP, BEEP, BEEP, or whatever? They’re so
awful, just a bunch of jarring boops and beeps. This is so boring but please
keep reading.

Unfortunately, this method does not work for Samsung devices. The password will
be listed underneath in plain text.

Tap the Share button to view a QR code that can be used to share the Wi-Fi
network. Open your Wi-Fi settings and select the network in question (this can
be the network you are currently using or one listed under your saved networks).
However, there are some limitations when it comes to viewing passwords as plain
text on Samsung devices. Anyone who is running Android 10 or higher can easily
share a Wi-Fi password with others.

Your options for viewing and sharing Wi-Fi passwords will differ depending on
the manufacturer of the device. If you can't get it working, there are a number
of other similar apps in Cydia that are worth trying out. It may or may not
work, depending on the version of your jailbroken software-these things are
always in flux. This tool will reveal those passwords for you. It's far less
common than it once was, but if your phone is jailbroken, head to Cydia (an App
Store for jailbroken phones) and search for WiFi Passwords (Opens in a new
window). Your only other options would be jailbreaking your iPhone. This method
should work, even if you have never connected to that network from the Mac. You
can then tap the visible password and copy itįor those who are stuck on an older
operating system, you can sync your iPhone's Wi-Fi passwords with your iCloud
Keychain, then turn to the Keychain Access app on your Mac, as detailed in the
section above. Select the Password entry and verify your identity with Face ID,
Touch ID, or a passcode. Open Settings > Wi-Fi, then tap the i icon for the
current network. However, with the update to iOS 16, there is finally a feature
that allows you to view a network's password.

paying different companies and going through different channels here so the
licenses don't cross over. You install and subscribe for the Android version
through the Galaxy or Google Play store. You install and subscribe for the iPad
version through the Apple App store. (Installing it on a third computer disables
the first one.) 1 desktop and 1 laptop, or 1 work computer and 1 home computer.
