SUPPORTING OUR METRO COMMUNITY – WE HOPE YOU WILL JOIN IN THE CELEBRATION BY
ATTENDING ONE, OR ALL, OF OUR 100TH ANNIVERSARY SPECIAL EVENTS!


UNITED WAY OF THE MIDLANDS NEIGHBORHOOD CELEBRATION

SATURDAY, JUNE 17, 2023
11 A.M. – 2 P.M.
HITCHCOCK PARK
OMAHA, NEBRASKA

Celebrate summer and United Way of the Midlands’ 100th Anniversary by attending
this free event, generously provided by our sponsors listed below. 

This event will feature family-friendly activities, food trucks, fun giveaways
and a community village where you can learn more about our local partners. Plus,
the first 250 attendees will receive a free hot dog lunch!


JOIN US FOR A DAY FILLED WITH FUN INCLUDING THE FOLLOWING AND MORE:

 * Free activities for kids including face painting, balloon animals, a photo
   booth with a free magnetic frame giveaway to the first 500 guests and
   carnival games with prizes! 
 * A community village featuring area partners who will be providing different
   services and giveaways
 * Food for purchase will be available from the La Casa Food Truck and from the
   Hy-Vee Grille! 
 * Free pop and water from Chesterman Coca-Cola
 * A free hot dog, chips and cookie for the first 250 attendees
 * A performance at 12:45 p.m. by the Omaha Street Percussion band and their
   Crosstix camp for kids group
 * DJ providing fun music and dancing 
 * A coloring contest for ages 2-12 years old’s with the grand prize of a bike! 
 * Meet a Douglas County Sheriff and his K9 dog!
