BUILDING BRITAIN'S WIND, NUCLEAR AND SOLAR ENERGY SUPPLY

Rising wholesale gas costs around the world have seen energy prices skyrocket.

That’s why we’re busy building Britain’s own wind, nuclear and solar energy

NOTES

 1. UK Fuel Mix disclosure information, published by Government Department BEIS,
recognises electricity from wind, solar and nuclear fuel produces zero
carbon dioxide emissions at the point of generation.

The zero-carbon electricity purchased is supplied to the National Grid.
Customers receive electricity via the National Grid, not directly from
    zero-carbon generators.

The below table summarises zero-carbon generation by company demonstrating
EDF generating 32.4%. The data supporting the table below and the % values
is sourced from a mixture of industry settlement data and the UK government
    renewable obligation database.

 2. Energy Hub is accessible in MyAccount. It is available for residential smart
metered customers that have both electricity and gas supplied by EDF on a
single rate tariff, or those who are supplied electricity by EDF on a single
rate tariff. The smart meter must also be commissioned.

prices as of April 2019. Source: Energy Saving Trust for roof and loft

 5. All our residential fixed energy tariffs are backed by 100% zero carbon
nuclear electricity, with the exception of our EV tariff which is backed
with renewables. See our product table for more information.

 6. EDF's EV tariffs are backed with 100% zero carbon renewable electricity.
Electricity for EDF's GoElectric tariff comes from renewable sources like
wind, solar, biomass, tidal and hydroelectric. At the end of each fuel mix
reporting year, EDF will make sure they've purchased enough renewable
electricity from EDF owned renewable generation to match the total volume of
electricity supplied to all their customers on the GoElectric tariff. A fuel
mix reporting year begins on 1 April and ends on 31 March the following
year. UK Fuel Mix disclosure information published by the Government (BEIS),
recognises electricity from wind, solar and nuclear fuel produces zero
carbon dioxide emissions at the point of generation. See EDF's tariff table
    for more information.
