A couple years later that part time job blossomed into a full time career when Ken started his own irrigation company. With the help of his wife, Kim, Ken’s business grew every year and became one of the top sprinkler companies in Omaha, Ne. In 2001 Ken, Kim and their son Josh brought their Midwest work ethic to the Valley. Specializing in residential service and installation of irrigation systems, Controlled Rain has become one of the few companies in the Valley to specialize solely in irrigation. In 2018, Josh became President of Controlled Rain and while irrigation has changed over the past 40+ years the things that have made Controlled Rain synonymous with quality have not.
