OUR STORY

Kim Chang and Shane Waysome met in 2022 at a baby shower for Kim's good friend,
who happened to be Shane's cousin, Lauren. Although Kim had known Lauren's
family for over a decade, she had never crossed paths with Shane before.

During the baby shower, Kim and Shane shared numerous glances and smiles but
hadn't introduced themselves. Everyone sensed their connection, but it was
Shane's Aunt Rosie who finally brought them together with a dance. She played a
crucial role in their introduction, as both Kim and Shane were intrigued by each
other but too shy to make the first move.

In the words of the legendary Beres Hammond, for all our Jamaican massive out
there, "What one dance can do?" It was spellbinding, sealing the deal. Kim and
Shane's connection was magical, and everyone in the room felt the
butterflies—especially Aunt Rosie, who had already given her stamp of approval
with playful thumbs-ups throughout the day's festivities.

With her help once again, she expedited the exchange of phone numbers between
the hesitant duo, and the rest, as they say, is history. A true blessing from
above, they are a match made in heaven.

Now, nearly two years after their fateful encounter, Kim and Shane have been
virtually inseparable. They cherish this love deeply and credit their children,
family, and friends for supporting their union.

Engaged on Thanksgiving Day 2023, they eagerly anticipate embarking on the next
chapter of their lives together and look forward to celebrating with you in
November!
