San Diego Design Week is an annual five-day series of events that celebrates
interdisciplinary design in our region through talks, studio tours, workshops,
and self-guided tours. In 2020 we’re exploring the theme of Design+. How are
designers collaborating across disciplines to exchange ideas and build and serve
our community? Join the conversation.

San Diego Design Week is a community event presented by Mingei International
Museum and led by a team of advisors and community partners that represent the
diversity of design disciplines throughout the city.

 * Presenter
   
   With a focus on folk art, craft, and design, Mingei aims to provide a
   platform to celebrate human creativity: through the exchange of ideas and
   examination of the processes and techniques of the many diverse disciplines
   of design. The Museum is permanently located in Balboa Park and is currently
   undergoing a major transformation, reopening in 2021.
