screwed. Forced 4k upscale of an older game will still need AA.įew games will
use true 4K res or textures as A they are massive in file size and compression
will make it so they can never fit on a DVD, as we will need multiple of them.

listed in settings will not need AA at 4K. Such settings like ubersampling was
ment for people with SLI'ed cards and a 1440p or higher monitor. When i had the
weekend witcher 2 thingy ubersampling was a little too much but think about it
without a 1440p monitor it would be impossible to see the ubersampling textures
or the AA due to the fact its higher than the monitor could output. Yet today
still X8 at the minimum is required to fully remove them with X16 making them
none existant. The jaggies never dissaper as the res gets higher, if that were
the case when we hit 1080p the claim back then as well was you cannot see the
jaggies. Especially not Ubersampling.Īctually using 4K you will definatly need
AA (about X4 at best). Say i invest in a 2k or 4k monitor/ tv n max the
resolution to that will the game look good as or better then with ubersampling?
( not even sure if these game supports that resolution but wondering) will also
cut down the need for aa? When using native 4k you will not need any kind of AA.
