MAGGIE KANAN

With a Master’s degree in Fashion Business Management from Parsons School of
Design and a Bachelor’s degree in Retail Entrepreneurship & Fashion
Merchandising from Florida State University, Maggie possess a comprehensive
understanding of the ever-changing industry. With her newsest role as a
Wholesale & Ecommerce Expansion Manager with OndaWorks, Maggie is responsible
for developing comprehensive strategies for launching Ecommerce & Wholesale
channels, implementing pricing strategies, managing inventory, and increasing
operation profitability for a variety of businesses using Shopify software.
Excelling in roles such as Head Technical Designer at leading lingerie start-up
Bootaybag, Maggie manages design and product development processes, conducts
market research, and oversees international business strategies. She has also
contributed to intimate apparel product development for tenured brands such as
Steve Madden and Vince Camuto landing product in 200+ stores nationwide.
As a Merchandise Buying Intern and Assistant for the Electronic, Beauty, and
Apparel divisions of Home Shopping Network, Maggie gained valuable experience in
supply chain management and procurement. Some highlights of these roles include
contributing to conversations and business strategies with industry leaders
including Giuliana Rancic and Scott Barnes on their respective brands.
During her time with Retail Revolution Podcast, Maggie helped to produce
content, vet guests, and conduct interviews with industry leaders during the
height of the pandemic.
With a strong track record of achievements, Maggie brings creativity, strategic
thinking, and a deep passion for the fashion industry, positioning herself as a
valuable and multifaceted asset to the field.
