So what is close reading?
In close reading we try to hear all that a text and its author intend to
communicate. We take a journey into the author's world, ask what the text meant
to its original audiences ” back then,” then try to find its significance for us
today. 

In my ministry, I regularly engage students at home and abroad in close
reading of God’s word.
