ONLINE LEARNING PLATFORM FOR PROFESSIONALS

Udemy is a teaching & training platform that was developed by Udemy, Inc.
This educational service is aimed towards professionals and students who want to
take up online courses to meet or enhance job-related skills and requirements.
Meanwhile, it allows instructors and corporate trainers to create customized and
targeted coursework.

Similar to other online learning platforms, such as Skillshare, Udemy provides
an easy way for anyone to take up and learn a new skill from the wealth of

availed on a per-course basis or through a subscription plan for more classes.
Moreover, Udemy is now available on Windows 11.




WHAT IS UDEMY?

Udemy is an online education platform founded back in May of 2011. It's
a massive open online course (MOOC) provider aimed towards professionals and
students who are interested in taking up online courses for self-improvement and
acquire job-related skills and qualifications. Depending on the course, they can
also receive certifications which serve as proof that they were able to finish a
course.

Udemy has headquarters spread in various countries across the world and the

being taught by 70,000 instructors that are qualified and experts in various
specializations and fields of study in 65 languages.

What's more, the platform can also serve as a great tool for corporate trainers.
Through Udemy for Business, they can devise specific and highly targeted
coursework for their company's employees. It ensures that their workforce has
an easy and convenient way to gain access to any kind of skills training that
they will need to perform their work more efficiently and effectively.


IS UDEMY RIGHT FOR ME?

Depending on your needs, some considerations have to be made to determine if
it's right for you. From a personal standpoint, if you're looking to gain a new
skill for self-improvement or a job requirement, this service is highly flexible
and adaptable to your needs. Plus, letting you choose and only pay for the
course that you want is a nice bonus.
