We arrange eight evening meetings each year with talks by guest speakers or members. There are monthly walks and group visits to local places of interest. The ammonite, Perisphinctus pickeringius, symbol of the Marcham Society, is a local geological reference. The original named specimen was found in Marcham. Local Corallian limestone contains many such fossils. The Society publishes pamphlets and booklets, particularly the series "Coral Rag" which contains articles written by members on a variety of topics. (see 'Publications') We plan to meet on the fourth Monday of the month in the Main Hall of Marcham Centre. (For these meetings and other events see: 'Programme') -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Membership 2024-25 To join or if you have questions about your membership, please contact the Membership Secretary by email using our contact page: Subscription Rates (2024-25): £12 - individual membership (one person) Non-members and guests attending a talk or walk are asked to pay £5 each.
