I also try and open doors with my foot or arm because i dont want my hands to touch where other people have touched such surfaces without washing their hands. If the toilet seat lid is down, i always use my foot to lift and not my hand. Is this weird? If people didnt wee all over seats and just leave the mess behind, and always washed their hands after using the toilet, then id feel much less inclined to do this. It especially makes me feel sick when mothers dont wash their hands after using the toilet, and dont encourage their kids to either >_< EDIT: Thanks to all the scruffy ****s for the neg rep! 15 reply kat2pult Badges: 18 Rep: ? If the toilet looks dirty, I line the seat with toilet paper, and then use wet wipes to clean me up. I always wash my hands, I can't believe that some people don't. It's just dirty. 1 reply SpicyStrawberry Badges: 18 Rep: ? You'll earn badges for being active around the site. The way some people leave them is disgusting 2 reply WildBerrySpirit Badges: 14 Rep: ? You'll earn badges for being active around the site. However, if the seat is dirty then I usually don't bother using the toilet. I'd rather hold it in. 0 reply bourbon_creams Badges: 8 Rep: ? You'll earn badges for being active around the site. I mean, if it was really filthy then I wouldn't use it but I wouldn't line the seat with toilet paper. 0 reply mew_156 Badges: 8 Rep: ? You'll earn badges for being active around the site. Thats why I choose the hover option. 1 reply Curly_hair_girl Badges: 14 Rep: ? You'll earn badges for being active around the site. That's how I look at it anyway. I usually wipe the seat with tissue before I use it, and I always wash my hands properly after I've been. If the toilets seem particularly unclean, then I might hover, yes. 1 reply Unconventional. Badges: 18 Rep: ? You'll earn badges for being active around the site. If the lid is down then I open it with my hand but with toilet paper so that I don't actually touch it. I also try to open doors with my foot or arm too but generally only to leave, after I have washed my hands. I don't want them to get dirty again opening the door to exit the toilets. xD I also agree that the reason I don't do the toilet paper thing is because it takes time and I really do not want to be in there any longer than necessary haha. 1 reply echolot_ Badges: 5 Rep: ? I try not to touch handles either on doors, I always use my sleeve I hateeee when i watch people not wash their hands! Especially when its a mother who gets out the toilet and then grabs the childs hand without washing either. Absolutely disgusting! 0 reply Genocidal Badges: 19 ? On occasions where needs must when I'm out for the whole day I layer the toilet with toilet paper so I don't have direct contact with it. Use tissue paper to flush the loo, use tissue paper to open/close the cubicle door. Then I wash my hands and if the tap is one of those annoying ones that you have to keep pressing to get it to stay on then I wash that too. For my grand finale I use more tissue to get out the main doors. 1 reply cloppy Badges: 7 Rep: ? You'll earn badges for being active around the site. The thought of sitting is so disturbing, like pressing your naked bums with that of a stranger. Nooooo. If the seat is down, I fashion a 'toilet paper mitt' before I will touch it. And after thorough hand-washing, always be sure to use an antibacterial gel/moist towlette. Wow I'm such a frigid. 1 reply X * * * * start new discussion 1 2 3 4 5 Next Last Go to first unread Skip to page: QUICK REPLY Submit reply Attached files Replying is easier on our app - Click here to download for FREE!
