For over five years we avoided drilling part of a lease because of the severity
of fluid losses anticipated. We weren’t sure MPD could help but figured it was
worth a look. After seeing Pruitt’s assessment, we gave it a go. To date, we’ve
drilled multiple wells on the acreage using Pruitt’s MPD services. The
technology’s ability to minimize losses has really made the economics work.

Powder River Basin Senior Drilling Engineer

We had issues with frac fluid migration complicating drilling operations on a
two-well package. With Pruitt’s MPD solution in place, we were able to
successfully execute both drilling operations by applying pressure to the well
when needed to contain the fracture fluid.

Niobrara Shale Drilling Engineer

With a pore pressure gradient too close to the mud density used, we ran into a
bad case of stuck pipe. We called in Pruitt to safely lower the differential
pressure and work pipe to free it. Pruitt’s managed pressure drilling helped us
avoid having to sidetrack, which saved us around $1 Million since we didn’t have
to abandon the bottomhole assembly.
