RUSSIA’S INVASION OF UKRAINE HAS EMBOLDENED COUNTRIES LIKE CHINA.

China has always wanted to take full control of Taiwan, and an invasion is now
more imminent than ever. Over 80% of the world’s most advanced microchips are
manufactured in Taiwan. If China gains control of the world’s supply of
microchips, they gain control of our technology, our lives, and our freedom. The
national security implications are astronomical, but we have an opportunity to
take preemptive action before it’s too late. To understand the far-ranging
implications of this emerging crisis, here are just a few technologies that
microchips are used in:

Due to the substantial market share represented by the top 25 U.S. chipmakers,
designers, and their 50 largest American customers, these companies are in
unique position to bring chip manufacturing back home. If they pledge to source
more of their microchips from America, we can prevent a dangerous conflict with
China and help strengthen our national security.

United States by 2030.

By signing this petition today, you can help bring chip manufacturing back home
and prevent a major conflict with China. When you sign, your petition will be
sent to the board members of the top 25 U.S. chipmakers, designers, and their 50
largest American customers. Importantly, the petition asks each company to
commit to a corporate social responsibility pledge to source at least 50% of
their microchips from the United States by 2030.
