We understand that when it comes to deciding which sort of Officiаl USPS Address

CHANGE OF ADDRESS USPS

The first thing you should know about USPS address change services is that you
can choose from three distinct types of address forms: individual, family, or
business. Whether it's your first or fifth time receiving mail, use this guide
to figure out who should fill out which type of form.


CHANGE OF ADDRESS FORM FOR INDIVIDUALS

You're contacting all singles! If you only wish to forward mail to yourself, an
Individual USPS Change of Address Form is for you.

entire hоuеhоld has the same last name, and while you are a family, just two of
you are mоvng and to different places. So, both you and your sister should

CHANGE OF ADDRESS FORM FOR FAMILIES (USPS)

You can complete a single family form if everyone in your household has the same
last name and is moving to the same location. This notifies the USPS that you
want mail forwarded to everyone in the household with the same last name.


CHANGE OF ADDRESS FORM IN THE UNITED STATES POSTAL SERVICE (USPS)

Change your address form if you've been given permission to forward mail on
behalf of your company. Even though separate people receive mail for the
company, this is true if the entire company changes its address.


HANGE OF ADDRESS CONFIRMATION VIA USPS

Once you've updated your new address, the postal service will send you a Move
Validation Letter verifying that they've received your request. About five
business days before your new address goes into effect, USPS will send you a
Customer Notification Letter and Welcome Kit, complete with a Confirmation Code.
If you changed your address online, you'd get these documents in the mail, along
with a USPS Change of Address Confirmation to your provider's email address.

business days to process your Change of Address request, which means that your
mail will be held until the start date that you choose on your form. Who knew
there were so many possibilities when requesting a USPS address change? Now that
you're a pro, you can update your information without skipping a beat! It's best
to finish everything two weeks before your move, so go to the USPS website or
your local post office with plenty of time.
