Beth Morris Workshops is a creative community art school, providing in person
(at Insole Court, Cardiff) and live online workshops to inspire and give
confidence to children and adults of all ages and abilities.

COMMISSIONED ART WORK (MAGNIFICENT MEADOWS CYMRU AND ARTS FOR HEALTH AND
WELLBEING CHARITY)

A colourful piece of art, created by the children of Beth Morris Workshops is
bringing a sense of calm to the patients, visitors and staff at a Cardiff
hospital.

‘Imagine If We Had Somewhere Lovely To Go…’

The children of Beth Morris Workshops (aged 6-16) have been imagining a world
where they are tiny and the usually small, sometimes overlooked meadow wildlife
is suddenly huge. They have drawn scenes of play and relaxation in an imaginary
natural playground.

The truth is though, that this playground and area for mindful moments is not
part of their imaginations. It’s really out there. This design inspires a picnic
blanket that tells a story of real children, adults and even pets, enjoying the
magnificent meadow area close to the hospital. We invite you to grab a blanket
and do the same…

COMING UP AT THE STUDIO…

Summer Holiday Workshops have just been released and a new selection of Guest
Artist adult workshops. Click on the taps to view and book.

There will be limited places available in the Autumn term on some of our weekly
workshops for children, teens and adults. Please hit the ‘weekly workshop’ tabs
in the next few weeks to see the updated timetable. Those who subscribe to my
mailing list will always be the first to hear when bookings open. So make sure
you sign up if you missed out this time.

There are some incredible in-person weekend workshops timetabled this year. We
are half way through and its been an inspirational start to the workshop season.
We cant wait to welcome some of the best artists in the country to share their
knowledge, talent and creative skills this Summer and Autumn. These Guest
Workshops will take place at the studio. So, if you want to join us, or know
someone who would like to attend, bookings are now open. A workshop experience
also makes a wonderful present.

ONLINE WORKSHOPS

Our Online Art Club will be suspended for the Summer term (so we can all spend
more time outdoors) and will return in September 2022.

However, the Create Escape adult weekly workshops will run online every Friday
for 10 weeks starting on 6th May. No zoom gloom we promise. Our workshops are 1
hour of pure inspiration, creative energy and chat. Its a really friendly group
and an incredibly mindful experience. Truly good for the soul! You can find out

BETH MORRIS WORKSHOPS - THE PLACE WHERE IDEAS AND CREATIVITY GROW INTO ARTISTIC
REALITIES.

A reputable community art school run by Beth, an ideas person whose motivation
and enthusiasm will inspire you to embrace art and craft. Wellbeing,
socialisation and inclusivity is at the heart of the business. The workshops are
aimed at complete beginners and artists that want to improve their skills. The
relaxed teaching style will give you the confidence to try many artistic mediums
and unlock creativity you didn’t know you had!

Based at the beautiful heritage site, Insole Court in Cardiff. My dedicated
workshop studio is warm and welcoming. The radio is always playing and students
are surrounded by inspiring art work and loads of friendly chat.  The grounds
and gardens will provide a brilliant backdrop for inspiration. The government
guidelines will determine if our workshops are inside or in outdoor classrooms,
or via zoom. We have learnt to adapt whatever life throws at us, and creativity
will never be cancelled! It’s a great environment to create and myself and team
of tutors now run over 15 weekly workshops for students of all abilities aged
between 6-96! 

There are also three weekly sketch and stitch workshops for people living with
brain injury supported by The We Can Do Project. Some of my amazing student
artists were featured on BBC’s The One Show. You can see the short film below.
