MCAS is a condition in which the patient experiences repeated episodes of the
symptoms of anaphylaxis – allergic symptoms such as hives, swelling, low blood
pressure, difficulty breathing and severe diarrhea. These abnormal cells can
grow uncontrollably and are unusually sensitive to activation in a condition
called mastocytosis.

The spontaneous production of mediators in these clonal mast cell disorders is
called “primary activation”.

Certain mutations in mast cells can produce populations of identical mast cells
– called clones – that overproduce and spontaneously release mediators.
Sometimes mast cells become defective and release mediators because of abnormal
internal signals. They are called “secondary activation” because they are due to
(secondary to) external stimuli. These responses, while not desirable, are made
by “normal” mast cells. Mast cells can also be activated by other substances,
such as medications, infections, insect or reptile venoms. Some of these
mediators are stored in granules in the mast cells and are released quickly and
others are made slowly only after the cell has been triggered. This triggering
is called activation, and the release of these mediators is called
degranulation. In allergic reactions, this release occurs when the allergy
antibody IgE, which is present on the mast cell surfaces, binds to proteins that
cause allergies, called allergens. They cause allergic symptoms by releasing
products called “mediators” stored inside them or made by them. Mast cells are
allergy cells responsible for immediate allergic reactions.

In 2006, Zappa organized the " Zappa Plays Zappa" tour. In "Weird Al" Yankovic's
2003 eleventh studio album Poodle Hat, Zappa performs the opening guitar solo
and sings on the track, " Genius in France". To promote the show, him and Ahmet
appeared briefly on the World Wrestling Federation's Rage Party, held the night
prior to WrestleMania XV.ĭweezil Zappa performing on the " Zappa Plays Zappa"
tour in 2006. The show lasted for one season despite its success due to a
copyright dispute over the title of the show. In 1999, Dweezil, alongside his
brother, Ahmet Zappa, starred in a show featuring celebrities, bands and dance
troupe called Happy Hour which debuted Apon the USA Network. In 1998, Zappa
played music agent John Kaplan in the Warner Bros. He composed and performed the
theme music for The Ben Stiller Show (the solo from Spinal Tap's "Break Like the
Wind"). He also briefly appeared in the television sitcom Normal Life with
sister Moon Unit Zappa and former Laverne & Shirley star Cindy Williams. In the
mid-1990s, Zappa voiced the character Ajax Duckman on the animated series

Stevie ("Don't touch that dial!"), and gave his most famous cameo role in John
Hughes's Brat Pack film, Pretty in Pink (starring Molly Ringwald), as Andie's
friend, Simon. He also played co-lead guitar (along with Reb Beach) on Winger's
cover of Jimi Hendrix's " Purple Haze". Zappa can be heard playing lead guitar
on the Fat Boys' "Wipe Out" (1987) and can be seen in the music video for Don
Johnson's top 40 song, "Heartbeat".

He also recorded some solo albums, as well as playing for other artists. In the
1980s, Zappa worked as an MTV VJ and was promptly fired after badmouthing MTV on
The Howard Stern Show (also, he had his father Frank Zappa co-hosting, who said
that it would be okay for young Republicans to kill themselves after a Suicide
PSA). Gail and Frank hired an attorney and soon the name Dweezil was official.
At the age of five years, Dweezil learned that his legal name was different, and
he insisted on having his nickname become his legal name. "Dweezil" was a
nickname coined by Frank for a funny-looking pinky toe of Gail's. Rattled at
this turn of events, Frank rapidly listed the names of several musician friends,
and the nurse added all of them to the birth certificate. The nurse at the
hospital at which he was born refused to register him under the name Dweezil, to
the point of arguing with Gail in the delivery room about it. ĭweezil's
registered birth name was Ian Donald Calvin Euclid Zappa. Zappa's father was of
Sicilian, Greek, Arab, and French descent, and his mother was of German and
Portuguese ancestry. He is the second of four siblings: his older sister, Moon,
younger sister Diva and younger brother Ahmet, and is the cousin of actress Lala
Sloatman. The band features renditions of Zappa's original material and the
lineup has often included Zappa alumni such as Napoleon Murphy Brock, Steve Vai,
Terry Bozzio and others.ĭweezil Zappa was born on September 5, 1969, in Los
Angeles, California to Frank Zappa and Gail Zappa. In addition to writing and
recording his own music, Dweezil has carried on the legacy of his father's music

Lyrics have a meaning to it, and they have a meaning in my heart. When I got off
stage, they said, "Charles, you didn't do the song that we told you to do," and
I said I couldn't do it. When I got on stage, I just set my spirit free and put
out the lyrics that I wanted to put out. With music, if I can't feel it and put
my soul to it and my heart, I can't do it. I didn't really like the song, but I
wanted the chance so bad, I learned it. I asked him for a chance, and he gave me
a song to sing with Sharon Jones. When I went to Gabriel Roth's studio, I showed
him I was good with my hands and started working as a handyman in his studio.
And when I wasn't doing that, I was good with my hands and could do work with my
hands. I was doing James Brown and Otis Redding before. I'm very happy and proud
of you."Īfter a few years of phenomenal success and touring, how do you stay
connected to the man you were before you released your first record on Daptone?
He said, "Charles, you took this song and you made it your own, and it's one of
the greatest songs that you've done. The guy who wrote the original of that
song, he had texted my manager and wanted to thank me.

The song "Changes," the one that I just made. Do a lot of people reach out to

Ultimately, some of these operations led to data exfiltration and encryption of
victim systems. In early May 2023, according to FBI information, the Bl00dy
Ransomware Gang gained access to victim networks across the Education Facilities
Subsector where PaperCut servers vulnerable to CVE-2023-27350 were exposed to
the internet. Threat Actor ActivityĮducation Facilities Subsector entities
maintained approximately 68% of exposed, but not necessarily vulnerable,
U.S.-based PaperCut servers. This CVE was added to CISA’s Known Exploited
Vulnerabilities (KEV) Catalog on April 21, 2023. As a result, a wide range of
post-exploitation activity is possible following initial access and compromise.
Commands supplied with the execution of these processes will also run with the
same privileges. When the software is exploited to execute other processes such
as cmd.exe or powershell.exe, these child processes are created with the same
privileges. The PaperCut server process pc-app.exe runs with SYSTEM- or
root-level privileges. Using the User/Group Sync interface to execute a
living-off-the-land-style attack.įBI and CISA note that actors may develop other
methods for RCE.Using the print scripting interface to execute shell
commands.There are currently two publicly known proofs of concept for achieving
RCE in vulnerable PaperCut software: After accessing the server, actors can
leverage existing PaperCut software features for remote code execution (RCE).

PaperCut servers vulnerable to CVE-2023-27350 implement improper access controls
in the SetupCompleted Java class, allowing malicious actors to bypass user
authentication and access the server as an administrator. If potential
compromise is detected, organizations should apply the incident response

conduct remote code execution on the following affected installations of
PaperCut: FBI and CISA especially encourage organizations who did not patch

FBI and CISA strongly encourage users and administrators to immediately apply
patches, and workarounds if unable to patch. This joint advisory provides
detection methods for exploitation of CVE-2023-27350 as well and indicators of
compromise (IOCs) associated with Bl00dy Ransomware Gang activity.

In early May 2023, also according to FBI information, a group self-identifying
as the Bl00dy Ransomware Gang attempted to exploit vulnerable PaperCut servers
against the Education Facilities Subsector.

PaperCut released a patch in March 2023.Īccording to FBI observed information,
malicious actors exploited CVE-2023-27350 beginning in mid-April 2023 and
continuing through the present. This vulnerability occurs in certain versions of
PaperCut NG and PaperCut MF and enables an unauthenticated actor to execute
malicious code remotely without credentials. The Federal Bureau of Investigation
(FBI) and Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) are releasing
this joint Cybersecurity Advisory (CSA) in response to the active exploitation
of CVE-2023-27350.

17 MILE DRIVE CARMEL

Remember, though - motorcycles are not allowed on the drive. 17-Mile Drive has
been a popular point of interest. There’s an entrance gate just off PCH, at the
junction with Highway 68 between Carmel and Monterey. The 17-Mile Drive is a
privately owned scenic drive that runs along the coast of the Monterey
Peninsula, passing through the gated community of Pebble Beach. 17-Mile Drive,
and the other roads in Del Monte Forest are owned and maintained by Pebble Beach
Company. If you’re not staying in Monterey or Carmel, you can still do the
17-Mile Drive from the Pacific Coast Highway. Doing the Drive from the Pacific
Coast Highway But armed with advice from Bobby, we found our way back onto the
drive to return to Carmel by the equally lovely inland route, driving through
woodland and back to the gate where we came in. Here you’ll have to do a bit of
smart navigating if you’re to continue the drive inland, as it’s another area
where the directions are not clearly marked. Eventually the drive brings you
into Pacific Grove, not too far from the Monterey Bay Aquarium and Cannery Row.
In all there are 21 stops marked on the map, including Bird Rock, where you
should see plenty of birds as well as harbor seals and sea lions, the Seal Rock
Picnic Area, and the Cypress Point Lookout. The fee helps towards the upkeep of
the drive, and provides you with a very helpful map showing the highlights, and
scenic places to stop. The drive is actually a private road, with a small
entrance fee to pay (just under $10 at the time of writing), although cyclists
and local residents are exempt.

There are five entrances to the drive, one of which was just a half-mile from
the Lamp Lighter Inn. As he lived in Pacific Grove and worked in Carmel, it was
a drive he was very familiar with. We were staying at the Lamp Lighter Inn in
Carmel and the manager, the very helpful Bobby, not only encouraged us to take
the drive he gave us advice on his personalized version, to help us get the most
out of it. Likewise, if you’re staying in Monterey you should make the drive to
Carmel and spend a day in this beautiful and unique little town. If you’re
staying in Carmel you’ll want to spend at least a day in Monterey, where there’s
plenty to do including visiting Cannery Row and the amazing Monterey Bay
Aquarium, which is on our list of the top sights to see on the whole of the
Pacific Coast Highway.

I actually quite like the "Lipchitz" story. Especially since Lipchitz is by far
the worst and least memorable story/verse. It all just feels anticlimactic and
doesn’t feel like it makes sense why the song goes from being so dramatic and
climaxing on Velma’s backstory just to go to a never-again-mentioned character
which just ruins the tone of the song to me. Yet, the song instead then moves
back to an unimportant nobody, ‘Lipchitz’, who has the most dull and worst story
of them all (a worse version of ‘Six’ tbh) and this is the final story to this
epic song? This should surely be the last murderess to explain her story as a
grand finale to the song finishing off with the final chorus. It is the longest
verse and explains her backstory, and then a longer chorus since she is a major
character. This all builds to what should be the climax: ‘Cicero’, sung by one
of the leading ladies Velma Kelly’. Uh-Uh’ is a change of pace and tone which
works well next, almost like the bridge of the song. They are unique stories
from ranging from comedic to scary, setting the mood for the song. The way I see
it, ‘Pop’, ‘Six’, and ‘Squish’ are good stories to begin the song with. Have
Fun! Feels like we could go on forever this way.īit of a weird query but I never
understood the logic behind the order of the murderesses singing in the song
from Chicago. This is a SAFE Community and rudeness WILL NOT be tolerated.
