Case Studies  

"Tsankov Kamak” Hydro Power Plant


The National Electrical Company invested heavily in a project that had a value
of nearly 250 million euro. The main contractor was Va Tech Hydro, which later
on became Andritz Hydro, Austria. The scope of work dedicated to KZU was the
fabrication of pipelines with length of ….. m and diameters ranging from 2600 mm
to 4100mm. The most difficult part of the job was the “Y” connection of pipes
with diameter of 4100mm and the transition from larger diameter to smaller
diameter. After five years of work, the job was completed and now “Tsankov
Kamak” supplies Bulgaria with clean and cheap electricity.
